Palo Alto Bed & Breakfast — Hotel in Puerto Princesa

The fact they can pick you up from the airport is very cool. Upon arrival you realize it's not really in a forest. The theme of the hotel is.. wood. And it looks good with all the detailed finishes and wood carvings. Be careful of the deluxe room it's hardly an upgrade. The superior room is plenty for 2 people. The staff met our request and they provide a pretty good breakfast. They also will provide a shuttle into town and they will do a pickup later. For example they took us to the bay walk and picked us up. You just have to respect their schedule. Hot water works even if its limited just temper your expectations and relax. You will enjoy your stay. Also if your expectations are high you should go to el nido... the other cool thing about palo alto beyond how they accommodate you is that anything you want to do on the island you can get the info right there at the hotel. We got a pretty good price on the Honda bay tour and they arranged for the transport to and from oh and the coffee was pretty good . Also... spot on job with the grilled ham and cheese sandwich they do not overcharge for the food and one more example of how they meet your accommodations I ask my fiance to go ask for chicken noodle soup. They didn't have it so.... they went and got it!!! Yea pretty cool.. overall it gets 4 out 5 because of the air bnb listing not properly describing the stay. There was not grounded outlets in the room for me to plug in my laptop. There windows are not really sealed to well the ac was dirty they didnt change the sheets and they upgraded us twice just to get the room I reserved. Also the wifi is only available in the lobby. But again...... temper your expectations and...

We stayed here for 4 nights and really enjoyed ourselves. We brought our three kids with us and they lived it. The breakfast every morning was fantastic. All of the people that work there were so nice and helpful! There pool was beautiful and the kids loved swimming in it. You feel like you are in a giant tree house while staying here and it is very relaxing. They have added white lights around the area and it looks so amazing at night. We stayed in the two story room and the beds were nice. There was actually a lot of room and the bathroom was huge! They provided toilet paper which was nice because most places in Palawan do not have toilet paper. A peaceful and relaxing place to stay in Puerto Princesa. The swimming pool and restaurant were really good. The service could have been better since we weren't given towels on the second day. The bedroom wasn't as good-looking as it was in the website pictures, but it was spacious and it had air conditioning. Otherwise, really satisfied with the experience. There are plenty of activities arranged by the hotel. We went to the underground river and the firefly sightseeing and we had a great time.
