Everything, this place is a hidden gem in Puerto. A bit far away from the buzz and the crowds, but rather close to a Robinson Plaza with Cinema (movie tickets around 200 p each), big Robinson supermarket, lots of restaurants, 3 atms to get cash from and many clothing shops as well.
The property itself is really beautiful, surrounded by mango trees, lots of singing birds and pure serenity. You will be offered a welcome drink when checking in. Especially the terrace is a nice place just to sit down, read a book or checkout your plans on a computer.
Inside your room you will find filtered water, which is complimentary and re-filled when requested. Nice bonus. They also offer one free pickup/drop-off and we used this service when they dropped us to the airport for free (in an actual air-conditioned car). Great value for the price.
The room might look a bit shady inside because of the colors, but we really liked it anyway. Aircon worked well. Shower warmed needed to be unplugged and re-plugged before use to have hot water. We have a habit of checking the mattress and linen out and everything was top notch, well cleaned. In bathroom there is soap to wash your hands as well.
The staff is really helpful and they are present at all times. Especially Jen and the other lady whose name I unfortunately cannot remember were so kind and always ready to help. Booked a ride to Port Barton through them for 600 peso/each, so they do take a small commission out of that one (but the van came to pick us up from the Villas so that was convenient).
For breakfast they have a different menu each day, mainly bread or rice, omelet or fish or sausage or bacon, egg, juice or tea or coffee.
There was a electricity shortage on Puerto during our stay, but this property has its own generators, so after 2 minutes we had power again.
Can't recommend this place enough.
Only con: WiFi was not working very well from time to time, but during the day...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe stayed here for 2 nights. Our visit wasnāt terrible but it was not great either. Iād simply recommend that you choose elsewhere for your visit to Puerto Princesa. ||||After we booked we were informed the airport transfer was not available which is unfortunate but we still arrived and paid for a transfer ourselves. ||||Upon arrival you were required to pay cash, this was fine we read the fine print before hand so we were prepared. There was a sign at arrival indicating no alcohol on premise- again this was fine but these are good things to know prior to your stay. ||||They let us into our room early when we arrived which was nice. The overall place is very small and nice looking on the outside.||||We had an ant problem in our room and the hotel staff kindly offered to spray our room while we went out. Unfortunately this didnāt really help but it would be hard to avoid the ants being on the ground floor. ||||There was no water for two days during our stay, we showered with a bucket that was filled from an outside hose by the staff. ||||There is no safe in the room but a wooden cabinet that had a lock, we chose to bring everything with us every time we left. ||||The bed is simple and small, single flat sheet over the mattress and another sheet over top.||||For the price of our stay I would recommend friends and family to look at...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe loved our stay here! This place is super clean, beautiful and comfortable. The yard is full of mango trees, flowers and other greenery so it really looks like a garden. The rooms are spotless and they have AC, hot shower, a jug with filtered water (the staff will fill it for you when you ask), a small TV and a closet which you can lock. The design of the rooms is not the most beautiful but they are still very cozy. It is nice that all rooms have a balcony with a table and chairs. The breakfast is served to the balcony and it is very basic but still quite good: Eggs, rice/bread, dried fish/sausages/bacon, juice/tea/coffee. They have a laundry service but I don't know the price of it because I did our laundry by myself.||Even though the place is located a bit far from the city center, we liked the area since it is more quiet. There is a Robinsons mall located in a walking distance and there are many restaurants, three ATMs, a cinema, a big grocery store and many different shops.||The staff is excellent. They are around 24/7 and always willing to help you, for example, with transportation and tours. LS Garden Villa offers free ride from/to the airport (with an air-conditioned car) which is great and makes things so much easier. ||I would give this place six stars if I could! ||(Only minus is the Wi-Fi which could have...
