Our experience at this resort provided us with a nuanced perspective, highlighting both its strengths and areas requiring improvement.
Commencing with the booking process, we were impressed by the resort's prompt responsiveness. Despite reaching out with short notice, they swiftly replied, furnishing us with detailed information regarding their amenities, pricing, and room options. The booking procedure itself was hassle-free, requiring a 50% downpayment to secure our reservation, a standard practice in the hospitality industry.
Upon our early arrival at the resort, we were delighted by their flexibility in granting us access to the amenities and beach prior to our official check-in time. However, it would have been advantageous if they had transparently communicated any additional charges associated with certain facilities, such as the billiards, to avoid any surprises later on.
The pool area emerged as a highlight of our visit, offering ample opportunities for both relaxation and enjoyment. Despite this, our dining experience left something to be desired. While the quality of the food was commendable, the pricing seemed somewhat inflated, particularly considering the portion size offered, notably with the Sinigang Bangus Belly dish. Despite the flavorful offerings, the disparity between the price and the quantity of food left us feeling somewhat unsatisfied.
Upon check-in, we were pleased to discover that our room was prepared ahead of schedule, affording us the opportunity to settle in earlier than anticipated. Although we were relocated to a different room due to an air conditioning leakage issue, we appreciated that the replacement room was comparable and even boasted a larger bed. However, encountering a broken doorknob in the restroom was an unexpected inconvenience, necessitating a wait of at least 30 minutes for resolution. Additionally, the absence of television channels detracted from the room's entertainment options.
The demeanor of the staff was noteworthy, characterized by their warmth, approachability, and readiness to assist. However, we encountered a billing discrepancy during one of our lunches. Despite the staff's insistence on an additional 200 Peso charge, we were confident in our recollection of the bill and ensured that we did not pay the extra amount.
The cleanliness of the comfort and shower rooms adjacent to the pool area was subpar, indicating a need for improvement. The shower heads were not affixed securely to the walls, and the walls themselves exhibited signs of neglect. Moreover, the absence of proper doors contributed to an overall lack of privacy and cleanliness.
Regarding the beach, while it boasted a semi-white sandy shore without rocks, the presence of numerous seaweeds and seagrass detracted from the overall aesthetics. Despite this, the provision of beach volleyball facilities and chairs added to the recreational options available to guests.
In conclusion, while our stay at this resort had its highlights, such as the accommodating staff and early access to amenities, there are evident areas for enhancement, particularly in communication, maintenance, and cleanliness standards. We believe that with concerted efforts in addressing these areas, the resort has the potential to provide an even more fulfilling and enjoyable experience...
Read moreWe had to resort to this hotel after a nearby one was fully book for the night. We got the family room which had 2 rooms, an open plan living room, dining room and kitchen which was very spacious. This was around 9000php for the night. ||The swimming pool is VERY small. And the place is ok. ||Less than an hour of being there, there was a powercut and it took them awhile to put the generator on, which was ok. We then went out for dinner at another resort to then came back to have another powercut, which we had to wait quite awhile for it to come back on. This must have happened twice in a space of an hour. ||With that the shower was awful, there was hardly any water coming out and this wasn’t cleaned as a used soap bar was still there. The drainage for the bathroom didnt have a strainer and was just a whole, therefore about 3/4 cockroaches were coming out from there. |In one of the rooms the air conditioning had water leaking out which had the socket right underneath it. ||At around 2.30 in the morning, we found that they have turned the generator off which resulted in our air conditioning and light being turned off, bare in mind we had a 1 year old and 9 year old with us. We had to go and get someone from their office/reception to turn it back on again which took way more than an hour.||I definitely DO NOT recommend this place and wish we could get our money back. We were so upset with our stay that instead of spending the whole day the next day to look around, we just wanted to go back...
Read moreThe only resort that does not give discount to senior citizen, that I have ever been. Poor customer service except for the guys whom i think is the errand guy, he is quite customer oriented. There was a brownout happened during our stay. And we noticed that that the other rooms had their generator set turned-on already and yet on our room, we still have to ask them to turn it on, and during when I asked then to turn it on, they are just saying it is because it is brownout, that was the main resort why I asked them to turn the GenSet on on the first place 😂😂😂
There was a mini fridge inside our room, the only thing is, there is no available outlet to plug it 😂😂😂
You cant even charge your laptop or phone since the only available outlet is behind the TV which is dedicated to thw tv and the tv box 😂😂😂. You have to turn the tv off firat so you could charge your gadget.
They told us that the whole resort is covered by wifi, however that is not the case. There is a wifi, but when you connect your device it says “No internet connection” luckily the network signal for both smart and globe is decent.
The room price compared to its actual features is far from reality.
We regret choosing this resort.
In conclusion, The resort need major improvement in almost...
