Lindi San Juan Beach Resort — Hotel in San Fernando

Should there be lower than 1 star, that is what I would rate this resort. From the time we arrived til the time that my guests left the next day, not to mention that they have 4 days reservation, it has been a disaster. When we arrived there, they have no clue that we are arriving then they ushered us to the room. A room above a should I say chaotic living area where the kitchen is and 3 sets of sitting arrangements in a very small area. Then here comes the room, small with a wooden sofa bed, a covered foam, pushed to one wall, 2 feet above it, a single foam on the floor, no frame, right beside the aircon that sounds like a landing helicopter, 1 foot to the wall on the other side, just the size of the door on the other side going to the washroom. Door to the washroom would not even close properly, no tissue paper and if you don't mind some company of mosquitoes and spiders, then this is your kind of room. My guests have to use their earphones just to get some sleep during the night then I have to transfer them to another resort the next day. When I got there the next day, the caretaker was there. When I informed her that we are cancelling our reservation, she said she will check it, entered her office then never came out until the time that we have gathered my guests belonging from the room packed up and left. By the way, we have to turn over the key to a half naked man taking his shower in a shower room beside their reception office. What a disgrace!!!!! Evidently no training on how to handle guests and complaints. AVOID THIS RESORT...

the location is perfect because it's beach front. The customer service is neither bad nor good. Breakfast was served late. (so late. 8pm is the serving time but it came at 9pm. Then, the one they served wasnt enough. ) They need to be reminded about the toiletries... Hmmm.. . Maybe because there were only three of them, the front desk staff, cleaner and guard. It would be best if the owner would add more staffs so the resort can provide better customer service.

In addition, the house is kinda old. We rented the house. One of our kids got a minor electric shock because of the shower in one of the bedrooms. The water coming out from the shower and faucet in the toilets is too little. The window in one of the bedrooms is broken so we cant close it. The towels given were too small. Like the towel we use for feet 😂😂

Lastly, it was our First experience to pay down payment or reservation fee which is already the full payment. We paid Php18,000 as deposit / down payment/ reservation fee.
