Perfect Spot for a Relaxed Backpacker Stay
Little Nomad is exactly what you’d hope to find as a traveller looking for a clean, friendly and well-run hostel. The cleanliness is absolutely on point – everything feels well-kept and fresh, which isn’t always the case in budget-friendly places.
The owners are super cool and genuinely welcoming, as is the rest of the team. You don’t feel like just another guest – they really make an effort to get to know you and help out with local tips and advice on where to go and what’s worth seeing.
The common area is a great space to chill, meet others, and the shared kitchen is a big plus if you like to prepare something for yourself. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise – simple but tasty and fresh.
The location is very convenient – just a few minutes by scooter from the heart of San Juan, but far enough to enjoy some peace and quiet in the evening. The balance between price and what you get is spot on, especially for backpackers looking for a comfortable few days on this lovely island.
Highly recommended if you’re after a relaxed, social vibe with all the basics done...
Read moreThe reviews must be fake. You are literally paying for tiny rubber mats next to each other like refugee camps are probably better than this. The beds were literally next to eachother and it was small and hot as hell. I don’t think anybody would want to sleep in there even for free. To my shock I said I wanted to cancel before check-in time, the owner first agreed to send me off and he wanted to open the bed for others which I agreed him to do but he never refunded me online. Greedy rude owner was probably able make money twice for the same bed! Cringe! Edit: He continues to deny that I have been charged although I have proofs. I even sent them the request to waive the off which would be impossible to send if I haven’t been charged. What is really disturbing is that they lie the whole time for a ridiculous amount of money they stole and can’t seem to correct the issue because...
Read moreLittle nomads is very tidy and lovely hostel. We stayed in their delightful nipa hut for couples. Olivier & sofie is a great host and very hands on. They were very nice and wants to share all they know about the area. We had a great stay! We had the best hostel experience. We loved the small details like free drinking water and strong wifi. We especially loved the outdoor shower with enough privacy. The hostel is located on the quiet side of San Juan and we felt secluded. it’s just 3mins ride from the newest beach resort Runik which is sooo nice to watch sunset. The area is quiet but still close to everything you need. We loved this place and we’ll be back for sure. Highly recommend this to anyone visiting Siquijor with such a friendly and thoughtful hosts. Don’t forget to try their breakfast too. Thank you,...
