Hi. We visit the place last June 10-11, 2017. We are 5 persons, Me, my sister, my boyfriend, my cousin and my friend. Our travel time from Laguna is almost 2.5 hours (we brought our car). It is a bit long because we passed some road which is under construction and we visited on a long weekend so we expect a lot more people than usual. The check-in time is 3pm and our check out time is 1pm the next day. But because of some delay, we arrived at the resort at 5:30pm. ||||Paseo Verde is not like other resorts which is just along the highway. You need to go inside a small passage and as you drive along the passage, there are other resort accomodation abreast with each other. The location of Paseo Verde is at the end with its neighbor resort Sigayan Beach Resort.||||Paseo Beach Resort has a spacious parking lot for their guests. Before we enter the resort, the staff only allowed one to two persons to enter the resort to talk to their admin for our accommodation. As we settled our remaining balance, they gave us a stub equivalent to our number of persons. We present the stub to the staff at the entrance and they let my other friends enter with our bags. The admin staff also asked me if I pay the Environmental Fee, because we haven't paid it yet, we pay the Environmental Fee for Php20.00 per person at the resort. There is a particular place to pay for the Envi. Fee but if you don't know where it is located, you can pay it at the resort.||||Our room accommodation is near the entrance. The resort call it "Caseta Esperanza". We rent the room good for 5 persons. It has two (2) double deck single bed and one (1) single bed. The beds are made out of bamboo but it has mattress. The room also has its own CR. The room is just right for the five (5) of us. It is also spacious for our bags and it is also air-conditioned. Outside the room is our dining table. It also includes a personal ref, water dispenser (hot and cold), a stove and gas and the room accommodation also includes the rent for kitchen utensils (like kawali, sandok, tong, sanche and kaldero). We only pay Php3,500.00 for all that stuff. Sulit bes! :D||||After we settled our things, we took some pictures because it is already getting dark and we want to see the place with its dawn ambiance. We took a picture on the "Paseo Verde" name first the we went to the beach side. The beach is so perfect. It is low tide! The beach looks like there is a sandbar at the middle. There is also a pathway of rocks. The place was really perfect for picture taking. We took pictures as long as we can. Hahahaha. :D We didn't see the sunset because it was cloudy and there is a chance of rain.||||After our photoshoot, we cooked our food for dinner. Griller is also available at the resort. Just ask the staff if you need it. Food is allowed to bring in the resort and also liquors. If you forget something to bring, the resort has their little sari-sari store. It is just a bit pricy but I guess it is reasonable because the grocery is far from the resort. There is also a sari-sari store outside the resort if you don't want to buy from the resort.||||After eating, we took some pictures again. Hahaha. :D The place is so cozy. The whole resort is surrounded by trees, plants, and flowers. It was picture perfect. The lights at the trees add ambiance on the place. It was really perfect. :) ||||After the second photo shoot, we took a rest, sit at the dining table, talked about things to catch up with each other, have some big laughs and drink some light liquor. :) We also experienced some brown outs but it didn't last long. I guess only a generator supports the electricity at the whole resort but that is not a big problem. :)||||As the day went deep, we are also deep in sleep. Hahaha. :D But at around 4am, our neighbor guests was like partying in their room. Their noise was "tagusan" with our shared wall. The room we rent was just like their room. It was like a house which is divided into two (2) rooms and the divider was only wood. So the outcome is, you really can hear their noises. And it make me really angry but I didn't let it bother my good sleep. So I just sleep again. Hahahaha. :D That's the only problem I saw with the rooms. :)||||We woke up by 6am to swim. The beach is not low tide anymore. :) Just an ordinary sea again but the beach is too shallow. You can walk far away from the shore but the water level will only be at your waist level. :) But the sea is full of sea leaves. I guess it is because of the rain. We didn't stay on the water that long. We just took some pictures. Hehehehe. :)||||After the swim time, we decided to play volleyball. Yes. it is free! But you need to bring your own ball. After we play, we cooked our breakfast have some sleep again.||||By 12noon, I decided to get up and keep our things to be ready for our check out. :)||||All in all, I really enjoy our stay with this resort. I will recommend Paseo Verde with my friends and I think we will stay again in...
Read moreThe place is clean but our experience at the resort was incredibly disappointing. Right from the start, the security guard treated us rudely. Instead of addressing us politely, he confronted us about being noisy, even though we were far from it. Ironically, there were other guests around who were loudly shouting, yet they seemed to be exempt from the same rules we were subjected to.
The most frustrating aspect was the inconsistency in rule enforcement. It felt as if there were different standards set for us alone, creating an uncomfortable and unwelcoming environment. In response, we decided to relocate to the beachfront, hoping for a more lenient atmosphere. Even there, our attempts to enjoy some acoustic guitar music and casual conversation were met with unreasonable resistance.
Despite taking care to maintain a reasonable noise level, our guitar playing was met with stern opposition. We were asked to keep the volume down, even though we were barely reaching 30-40 decibels. This was perplexing, especially since there were no other guests or nearby rooms that could possibly be disturbed by our modest music.
What adds to the frustration is the contrasting observation that neighboring resorts allow loud karaoke sessions without any restrictions. This only highlights the arbitrary and inconsistent way in which the rules were enforced at the resort. It's disheartening to realize that our experience was marred by such biased treatment.
In light of this, it's difficult to view the resort in a positive light. Our experience was far from relaxing or enjoyable, and we're left with a sense of disappointment. It's clear that the resort's approach to rule enforcement and guest satisfaction needs significant improvement.

Read moreOMG you had to sit in the toilet bowl to take a shower - that's how small the bathroom was. The wash basin was leaking so when you washed your face your feet get washed too!!!!! Solution,we placed the trashcan under the leaking pipe to catch the drip. Result, no decent trashcan to use in the room - had to improvise with plastic bags and then throw it when full in the large garbage bin outside the room. So the bathroom is eternally wet and we track our wet footprints all over the room after using it! Our toilet bowl got stuck up and had to be plunged on our second day. Sleeping by the wall in a hut next to the public toilets gave me a whiff of canal smelling fragrance. It is such a pity that the place is nicely set up with nice staff who are simple people but accommodating but the room we stayed in, Caseta Esperanza, was left in disrepair. Even the door had putty around the door handle which was left unpainted. I hope the owners will strive for more quality to give their guests a better vacation experience. It will be a NEVER AGAIN experience for...
