Lovely beach club for Playa Laiya members. Non-members can go in as long as they have endorsement letter from an owner and pay the entrance fee and cabana. It is a big and nice place but already showing some signs of neglect such as the power outlet in our cabana is not working properly, in the ladies shower room, some doors have broken locks. Hope the management will do something about it. But the beach area is very nice even if it is pebbly. Better wear aqua shoes especially for kids. There are some parts of the water that is uneven- like you are standing in a shallow part then when you move forward it becomes deep. Glad that there's a lifeguard around.

Based on the price of 2.230 PHP for a day of 8 hours, I can give only 3 Stars. The beach is clean, the water seems to be clean too. Also the landscape is very nice, located on a vast beach. But if you look for shade at the beach, you will find it only in the restaurants. At the pools, there are fewer umbrellas, so it's a hard fight to get one. Another way is to rent a condo for an additional 1500 PHP. The dishes are up to your taste. In ribs and pizza is additional sugar included. The service act like a 2 Star level.

The first time I went there, I think I was seven years old. I loved the pool at first sight and I started splashing around in it. I also celebrated my eighth birthday there seeing as I dreamed of having a pool party at a small age and also really missed the place. I went there with my friends and I had the time of my life! During quarantine, Laiya is also still open but there are still a few more rules that comply with the rules that help us keep safe in the pandemic. We went there recently and enjoyed it once again.

Here is how a two-day trip in Playa Laiya erased all the good memories I had with Landco:

I was a single visitor in Club Laiya and I was not informed there would be an ongoing construction during my visit. I was ogled and catcalled by the workers many times and the guards and staff did nothing to stop them.

On the second day of my visit, I was forced to take a shower in the women’s bath house WITH MALE WORKERS INSIDE. They refused to go out and told me to not worry because they will guard the entrance.

On both days of my visit, the restaurant closed early and no one informed me. The staff told me that the cooks just left “because no one was eating.” Given that I was the only visitor staying in Club Laiya at the time, I was so confused as to why I was not given a heads up. I had to eat from a third party restaurant outside the property. Super inconvenient.

The staff was warm and welcoming as people, but they are not attentive to their guest’s needs. Upon checking in, the receptionist was not even sure what documents she needed to get from me.

I have emailed these complaints to Landco last September and they never got back to me. This experience is completely...
