Everything about this place is average. I am not sure if I am overly being critical since I have been to very nice places abroad but this was my experience. I seem to be finding a “but” to everything. - Staffs are very friendly and helpful especially the front desk BUT the dining/ servers lack hospitality and doesn’t seem to accommodate simple request. Example: I had originally asked for iced tea for our drinks, but decided to change it to coffee (because after trying the iced teas from the day before, we realized it wasn’t to our taste) which I informed the front desk ahead of time. When we got the food, the drinks were iced teas. I told the server about my request and he told me that he can’t change it anymore since he was not informed and that the iced teas are already mixed. No biggy but for the price we paid for the stay, I don’t think it was too much for the drinks to be changed. - Additionally, I noticed some staff holding supposedly clean glasses from the inside instead of the outside of the glasses. (Just a little health and hazard concern.) - The view is nice and the lounge (pool side) is a very nice place to hangout. The infinity pool looks very beautiful, especially on pictures BUT the pool was a little disgusting. It was slippery inside the pool (indication of not being scrubbed in a long time) and it had a weird smell. The people around the lounge are also very obnoxious and unmindful of others that were just trying to relax and enjoy. I’m into having fun and I don’t mind loud conversations and laughing but these people was just plain obnoxious that other guest can no longer enjoy anymore. - Food is a bit pricey, however, I find that some of the food we tried was truly tasty BUT for the western breakfast, it was just plain embarrassing. Eggs not cooked as requested and bacon was gross looking. Also, the brewed coffee was just awful. I can tell that it was not freshly brewed and that it was reheated. There was also a lot of coffee grinds in the bottom. For the price if that coffee, I had expected something way better than what was served. - The room was nice and cozy. It had everything we needed BUT there was a strong weird smell. I am not sure if it was the cleaning agent that was used but it was very overpowering to the point where it was hurting our heads and we had trouble sleeping. - There was also construction right next door which I was upset that we aren’t informed about. We were supposed to be in paradise, enjoying the day, sleeping in etc. Instead, we are forced to wake up early because of al the hammering! Overall, I would still recommend the place to someone but with lower expectations as I did. In my mind, the place looked like a very upscale seaside hotel but it needs a little bit more work. I think this place can be a truly awesome place to stay in if they just focus a little bit more on some details.

First stay was April 2023 for 2 days. Second stay July 2023 for 6 days. ROOMS: They're ok, clean and updated compared to what the other accommodations out here in Sta. Ana are offering. Rooms are nothing spectacular but may be considered above average for this area. Shower drain was not draining causing the entire bathroom to flood to a point where I had to use towels to contain the water. The shower head handle was not working I was told they would change the shower handle but did not do that for the entirety of my 6 day stay. SERVICE: For the most part staff are polite. Front desk staff goes to lunch all at once leaving no one to man the front desk. Cafe staff are polite but SLOW. They typically don't acknowledge anyone who comes in. They sit around behind the counter or hide in the kitchen instead of tending to customers. Do not come here hungry as food will take about 45 mins to come out. Food is a hit or miss. Don’t order the pansit bihon if you have hypertension because the cook is a bit patis happy. They typically have to get food/ drinks from their sister hotel Country Inn. On our last day my party of 3 were the first in the cafe. We ordered regular Filipino breakfast and this took over 30 mins. C'mn, eggs and tapa doesn't take 30 mins to cook regardless of how many "room service request" they may have. Another client came in towards the 30 minute mark and she got our food the same time we did- after I started fussing that it's taking too long. I advised the front desk of this and the little girl who might be "in-charge" had all types of excuses that they may have a lot of room service requests, etc. My biggest issue is that they would bring utensils/ plates, glasses and FOOD across the street WITH NO COVERING which is very UNSANITARY since everything is exposed to the elements including flies, dust, dirt, and the spit of whoever is transporting these items to Blue coast. The saving grace of this hotel is it’s newer and updated than the other ones near by along with its great location. Owners, train your staff, please.

So glad we found this place! Came in without a reservation during the week in October, so not packed. They had a seaview deluxe for ₱4800. We gladly took it! Great view of a beautiful ocean and sunset. As we settled in, we noticed it didn't have a fridge. Asked about that, and told the fridge is only in the "private rooms". Asked to be shown one since it was ₱8500, so I figured it was more than just a fridge difference. It was about double the size, seaview, and a small pool on the balcony! Sold! Moved to that room the next day after breakfast and stayed 2 more nights. The rooms lack a little in the bathrooms in terms of places to put hygiene items, but it's manageable. Beds are firm...a bit too much for our liking, but again manageable. The staff was always helpful, kind, and respectful. The free breakfast could be a bit better in terms of selection, such as having a pancake combo with egg and bacon. However, the egg meals were all ₱200 or less, so adding one to some free pancakes was fair. The rest of the food we had was nicely done in terms of taste and presentation. The pools were nice, but we had our own, so we didn't hang there at all. Beach access is right off the restaurant patio area. The access to the hotel was simple as it is just one road off to the left of the main drag through town. Security was always present as well. We looked at several places to stay before settling on this one. I don't have to look any longer. This will be our place to visit in Santa Ana. Hopefully it keeps the standards the same or better.
