This place is a real diamond in the rough - with just one very unfortunate exception.||||I looked at probably 10 hotels in Tagbilaran before staying here, & it's very clearly a head & shoulders above everything else in the price range. For P800 you get VERY clean & well-maintained rooms (a real rarity), VERY stable WiFi in the rooms (also super rare), hot water showers, windows, & aircon. The staff is extremely friendly. It's a bit out of the center, but considering a tricycle ride is only P8, that's no big deal. The rooms themselves have divided bathrooms (so the whole room doesn't get wet when you shower), and there's tons of useful shelving space. Sounds perfect, right?||||Unfortunately, the place is ruined by the next-door neighbor, who keeps many dogs locked up in small cages directly outside your window, never letting them out, and allowing them to bark all hours of the day with no attempt whatsoever to show consideration to his neighbors. The dogs go crazy anytime someone walks by on the street - at midnight, at 6am, you name it. He's got two big dogs and several small ones, so the barking covers the whole range of pitches. And they're literally right outside your window.||||I was really sad to eventually have to move. If you're a heavy sleeper or not sensitive to sound, I'd definitely give this place to try. But for me, the constant barking just drove me too crazy to stay. It's a real shame that one inconsiderate neighbor has to ruin what I'd consider to be pretty much the perfect...
Β Β Β Read moreAs the previous review has said the hotel is clean and nice. But I had no hot water which was very annoying. Also after leaving and locking your room double check it is locked I was in room 4 and if I had not pushed my door after locking it would not have known it was not locked. The front service boy tried and after many attempts managed to lock it but then we had trouble opening it again. The next day a new front boy and he said l needed to lift the door to lock it. It was lucky that it had an extra latch inside so I felt safe at night when it was not locked properly. Also besides the dogs barking all night you are over the flight path so you do have planes landing during the day, only until 5pm. It was much louder outside than inside the room though. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this hotel to family and friends for a good...
