NGN GRAN HOTEL — Hotel in Tuguegarao

Front desk clerks are unresponsive. Stood in front of a clerk for 10 minutes and no one attended to me. Called their front desk number for five times and nobody answered. Called mobile front desk numbers, only to be answered on the third call.

The building smells like a newly constructed building. Not a great place for people sensitive to dust. Also sections of the building are still being constructed. So it can get a bit noisy during those hours.

Rooms are equipped with smart TVs. Basic bed set up. You can only get one key card, which is a huge inconvenience. No hot water in the shower.

Great location for sunset views. Not a great one if you have young children. The road right in front of the hotel...

Booked through Expedia, good thing they actually honored it. I got Room 401.

After check-in, someone assisted us to the room. Upon opening the cabinet, I was greeted by two used towels, had to call the front desk to request replacements.

The room itself is okay, though it has no windows and small, cranky beds. If you’ve ever dreamed of becoming a bold star, Room 401 is your room. Just open the curtain and let everyone watch you shower. On the bright side, they do have hot water and a small sink (though strangely, no mirror).

If I ever go back to Tuguegarao, this place will be 3rd on my list. Better go with Go...

The hotel greatly needs to improve most of their services. Had hiccups with check in as they seem not to have the records in place from our booking via Agoda. It took 4 follow ups to have our room made up by housekeeping. Breakfast not prepared when we went down at seven am despite the notice that its from 6 to 8am. The room service is too slow and needs...
