We went to Zamboanga as a group to conduct a seminar. The hotel was chosen by the organizers so accommodations and breakfast were taken care of by them. I had no idea how much our room costs.||||Our room was large enough for three of us with 1 single and 1 double bed. The room has a standard TV, time-delayed aircondition, and kettle. No complimentary coffee or bottled water. Neither was there a refrigerator. Room temperature was comfortable.||||The bathroom has usual complimentary soap, but the shower was weak so it took longer to take a bath. Fortunately, water was at a contant comfortable level because the hot and cold shower knobs did not work properly.||||You have to pay for extra pillows or blankets. The room was cleaned daily without request which was fine. Towels were changed daily. ||||Since we leave the hotel after breakfast and return after dinner, the room was just right for us. Wifi speed in our room was good. Password was provided upon request and connection lasts for 8 hours and then request for another password.||||The front desk stafff was friendly and always smiling. The dining hall is small, barely enough for our entourage of ten persons. Hot breakfast was served on time. The kitchen was very accommodating but closes at ten. ||||There was a drug store and grocery right across the street from the hotel. We did not move around the city upon return to the hotel at night. ||||Overall our stay was good. But given a chance I would scout for other hotels...
Read moreWe stayed here for over a week. There are only 2 great things about this hotel: a) great location and b) consistently friendly staff. It is situated at the heart of the pueblo and a lot of places of interests are within walking distance. While the staff are all-smiling and greet you all the time, you would have to continue following up on your requests (e.g., fixing the aircon, TV, WiFi, changing towels and toiletries). The hotel is decrepit and run-down, matching the vibe of the entire pueblo district - screaming for much needed repair and upgrade. The room conditions can be likened to the old branches of Hotel Sogo, GoHotels or RedPlanet. Their 3-person suite does not have a workdesk which is a massive disappointment for a business hotel. The free breakfast is a staple of rice, egg and a rotation among hotdog, tuna and shanghai, cling-wrapped on a plate. I'll give them a plus for...
Read moreI actually got a free night's stay for booking their huge function hall for my son's baptism celebration that's for 100 guests. We were excited because at least we would have a place to rest for the night after the event and it won't be too tiring for my 2 week old baby. ||||What a disappointment!!! When we went up to check the room after the event, we saw several small roaches all over the room. The room even smelled of insecticide. When we complained to the staff about it, there was really nothing much they can do since the hotel is booked and that's the only room available. ||||They saw us holding our baby and said that they can't even spray the room again since the baby was with us. The room did not even have windows so the smell will really linger. It was just not safe especially with my baby there. The free room just went to waste as we did not...
