Yes they also have a Rizal Park in Zamboanga City. It is not a big, grand park but it serves the purpose of having a central location for holding activities commemorating the hero Jose Rizal. It is at the heart of the city but it is obscured by the surrounding buildings and traffic. During my stay in the city, I purposely went to the park in the early evening when there are less people. I just took a tricycle from the Grand Astoria Hotel where I stayed. The lights gave more focus to the central monument. The whole area was generally clean with modest landscaping surrounding it.
