Templo Hotel & SPA — Hotel in Braga

Don’t think so. |It was a 2 nights stay, happy that wasn’t more than that. |-first of all it is some fresh days and nights here, and the AC you can only put on cold air, and if you ask the reception they say that they can’t do nothing but if I want they can arrange a spare blanket... what?? |-the mirror of my room the all 2 nights has the same dead butterfly even after the cleaning ladys had been here, and don’t look behind the TV. |- speaking about the tv, the remote doesn’t work, and they didn’t arrange another one so you must control your tv like in the old days. |-the phone sometimes they answer sometimes not at the reception, you have the number list that say to call 404 but actually you must call numb 9, so don’t call 404 nobody will answer. |-there is no restaurant or some kind of snacks if you are hungry you must call some kind of delivery like uber eats |- the bar there is nobody there. |- the walls are very thin, you can listen people in other rooms going to the wc and there is a lot of noise and if you complain about nobody will do nothing. |-breakfast is ok, but not enough variety for a 4stars hotel.||There is a lot of wrong stuff there.|I would give 1 or 2 stars, never a 4...

The view from the hotel is stunning , the surrounding area beautiful, couple of ice cream stalls , a fine dining restaurant with panoramic view . Difficult to find somewhere round and about for lunch so needed to head into Braga. |Uber into Braga only around ten minutes . |Hotel - rooms are a little dated but cleaned every day . No Fridge or mini bar in our room which was on our booking confirmation. Once I complained a fridge appeared ( didn’t work) fruit and wine was left for us from the manager . Breakfast , not great as there seems to be ants each morning crawling over the bread and pastries . |Our main gripe was the pool and spa is closed for maintenance, we chose this hotel specifically as it had these facilities. We were not made aware before our stay that the pool and spa would be closed . The hotel also advertised it has a bar but no , you have to ask the guys at reception for water or coffee — no alcohol ! There is a lounge area but we never used it as the bar was non existent. |I have complained to our booking agent and the hotel has refused any...

I was absolutely blown away by this hotel! I booked on Expedia and messaged the hotel directly, they were very responsive. I got an amazing, spacious room with great views of Bom Jesus de Monte. The rooms are spotless and the bedding is very comfortable.

Breakfast was included, but it was extremely limited, so I stopped using it after day two. There’s no room service, but the restaurant attached to the hotel is lovely, with stunning views over Braga.

The staff are very accommodating, and the spa area is clean and also offers beautiful views. All of this for quite an amazing price. I had very little expectation going in, but I was truly impressed!

The only major downside was the air conditioning, despite setting it lower and lower (from 21°C down to 11°C), the room temperature stubbornly stayed at 25°C, which made it...
