Great stay! Staff speaks broken English, but that's on you if you don't at least bring Google translate. They're super accommodating if you have to use it. When I left for my trip I realized I forgot my wall adaptor at home! The staff working the night shift was super helpful and lended me a wall charger with a USB port so I could charge my phone and battery packs. Great service!!! The breakfast was pretty standard, runs until 10am. I really enjoyed it! Everything was fresh and CLEAN! I requested a bathtub room and was given the "family" room that's shown on their website. This room has a bathtub and I really enjoyed my stay! Great water pressure and you don't run out of hot water. The beds were comfortable and I had a balcony with a beautiful view! I was on the top floor in the back, so I didn't hear any trains. The only thing that woke me up was the church bells going off at 9am--which I'm grateful for. Much better than my alarm! I traveled here by myself and never once felt unsafe. Very grateful for the staff. They also don't lie when they say it's a 2min walk from the train station! It really is! What an unexpected place to stay. I am on a solo bike tour of the Camino Santiago and was take a tour to Fatima. The day was very hard and the road I was on was blocked, had to back track and tried to stay in the nearest town which had no rooms. Found a room here in the next town. Arrived very tired, little concerned about the location and the fact it’s next to the train station. What a relief, very nice young man the front desk helped me get settled and made a dinner suggestion. Bike was stored safely, room basic but very nice, clean comfortable. Quiet hotel in a local neighborhood, enjoyed hearing the church bells, easy walk to restaurants, shops cafes. Had to go seek medical care because of dehydration and desk staff helped arrange a ride, very concerned when I returned. The hotel is situated on a square comfortably close to the train station. The staff are friendly, smiling and attentive and the room and bathrom immaculate. Breakfast is continental. The only hitch : I stayed there with a large group and found the breakfast room set up uncomfortable. The tables are fixed, with three places in a row on either side, so that it was difficult to get into a place without inconveniencing other persons. Additinally the steps separating the buffet from the larger breakfast room area made it uncanny for elderly guests to navigate with a trayful of crockery and food in their hands - an accident waiting to happen. ||The decor in the foyer is original :)||I would not hesitate to...
