i rented a double room at this inn during the St, Martin's Horse Fair In November 2016. This is more like a hostel, not a true hotel. The bed was good, THERE WAS HEAT, albeit not very effective, and the place was very clean. No private bathrooms; several rooms shared a separate WC and Shower. The water was warm, not hot, but still very welcome. The chief advantage of this Inn is its'very convenient location close to the center of town-perhaps a 10 minute walk at most. I suspect that this hostel operates mostly during the Horse Fair. It was quite expensive for the value received, but then, during this extraordinary week, ANY lodging is inflated, and it was great to have a clean place to stay.The staff...

I have stayed in this amazing place while walking alone the Camino from France, Bayonne to Lisbon. I arrived yesterday and I felt so comfortable that I decided today while I already started the walk to return and stay another night ❤️ This place makes you feel like home and has such a good energy. Read moreWe had a lovely stay at the Inn Golegã. It is cosy and tastefully decorated. We paid 15 euros each for bunk beds. We were the only occupants. The Inn is very close to Camino de Portuguese route to Santiago. There is a special cupboard of food intended for pilgrims.
