We only had a 2 night stay here as part of a longer multi- centre Algarve holiday. We chose the hotel as it was close to friends we were visiting who have a house in Paderne.||||We had asked for a room with a balcony as not all have these and we were given one with a great view of the village and the countryside beyond.||||The room was clean and the bed so comfortable. The bathroom was good too. ||Although we didn't use the pool it looked lovely with a range of beds and comfortable seats. It had great views down to the coast of Vilamoura.||||We had a good breakfast which was included. Reasonable choice give the size of the property and garden tables were in such a great spot to enjoy the start of the day..||||There was a fridge in reception from which to purchase water, soft and alcoholic drinks. We arrived on a Sunday and there was absolutely nothing open in the village to get food and drink otherwise. Luckily we were being picked up both days and taken out as we would have been a bit stuck on the Sunday.||||Just across the road is a lovely local cafe that did the best coffee and very acceptable wine too for a fraction of the cost in the tourist areas.||||The hotel is designed beautifully and very modern.||||Staff throughout were extremely professional and friendly.||||Very good value for money. ||||Highly recommended and we...
Read moreWe stayed here for just the one night while walking a circular route from Albufeira. The hotel is located in the older part of Boliqueime close to the church. Our room was modern and well-equipped, and the huge bed was incredibly comfortable. The wifi is free and worked well in our room (which is frequently not the case in Algarve hotels). Our breakfast buffet included scrambled egg and bacon, plus a huge choice of continental offerings, including a good choice of cakes (we love cake at breakfast). The shower was very hot so just be careful when you turn it on. Our ground floor room overlooked the street which wasn't a problem in December but might be less desirable on a hot summer evening so it might be worth mentioning you'd prefer a room where you can open the curtains. All in all, very good value at just under 45 euros...
Read moreI have been there this august. I am sorry but I was disappointed. First because the room is not properly cleaned. The chairs and table on the terace were full of dust. I do not think they clean the terace very often. The hotel is situated between two roads and the noise is terrible. I could not let the terace door open and since the AC is not an option for us we nearly suffocated from the heat. The furniture is old fashioned but that was not necesarily a problem for us. The bed was not very comfortable. ||The reception service was OK. Both ladies were very nice. Breakfast was the same every day but compared to other 3* hotels in Lisbon they did not served something traditional. Also, I did not liked the cofee.||The hotel has a swimming pool for the interested.||The wifi works well.||You need a car if you want to go...
