Hotel da Vila — Hotel in Manteigas

Hotel da Vila is amazing for the following reasons: There is a restaurant situated within the hotel so you can easily eat and stay at your place without leaving the premises. The restaurant is filled with friendly staff and a great view of the mountains The rooms: The rooms are clean and have most amenities you’ll need in a room. Towels, Sink, Toilet, Shower, Shampoo, TV, WiFi, and a large window/slider door with a view of the mountains. Security is great because after curfew, the building locks itself and you need a pin to get in (which they provide you). Internet is also fast at 75Mbps which is great. -Next to a cash machine. Outside the hotel is a cash machine to withdraw funds. I’m these remote places cashes tend to be the primary way to pay rather than card, so you can withdraw them there. -20 minute walk to the mountains: There are closer hotels to the trails than this one, but I personally didn’t mind walking a little bit since that was the whole point of my trip. Staying at this hotel were simply fine. Staff were helpfull, room and bathroom were neat (btw what the heck is about doing glass doors for a toilet? I cant understand that in Portugal 🙈). You can find here a comfy bed, air condition, clean room and shower, toilet. Also you can find not much for a breakfast- nothing warm (except coffe or tea), sweet rolls were not fresh at all, maybe still not crunchy, but it was dry and you had to chew longer than usually. Um hotel pequeno mas bonito, ao chegar não havia ninguém para receber, aguardamos uns 5 minutos lá pareceu uma senhora que não tinha nada de simpática, quando nos foi informado temos que escolher o horário do pequeno almoço 😲 era obrigatório 🤬. Lá escolhemos o das 9:30 supostamente era último Ao chegar ao quarto pequeno ficamos chocados, se pedimos com duas camas, não tens intimada, primeiro problema o WC com chuveiro é encostado á cama o que separa é o vidro e uma mesinha, transparente, estás na cama estás ouvi outra pessoa na sanita, ao tomar banho fica tão calor húmido horrível, és obrigada ao sair do duche limpar Fora não tem onde mete a toalha dentro do chuveiro... Mas se peço quarto com duas camas, és obrigado a ver outra pessoa nua e ouvi no WC .... Muito mau Acabes de fazer as tuas necessidades tens que sair do WC e vi ao quarto lavar as mãos ( ridículo e pouco higienenico) Durante toda noite se alguém vai á WC é horrível o barulho que faz a porta do WC ao puxar o autoclismo, ou até outras necessidades 🤬. Para terminar como fomos obrigados a escolher um horário para pequeno almoço, acabamos por acordar mais cedo por ouvi pessoas a falar no corredor falta pouco para 8 da manhã, o nosso pequeno almoço era às 9:30 ainda falta muito tempo , acabamos por ir embora sem tomar o pequeno almoço, não irmos ficar á espera num quarto...
