Spent one night here on the way to Sierra Estrella by motorcycle, no real reason just happened to be on the way and had seen a clip online. Perfect location with beautiful views across the reservoir in the valley below, the light on the water and the hills changed all the time with the light. The phrase "hidden gem" is often overused. This one is, built in the 90s by the family that still run it, a lot of care went into the use of stone and exposed timbers creating a comfortable but timeless appearance. My room remained cool without A/C despite bread oven temperatures outside, the balcony provided the perfect spot to sit in the shade and watch the view change. Read moreThe Inn is in a poor state. Seems it has no maintenance for years. Bathtub curtain old and all thorn. Old carpets, toilet wood seat with cracks all over. Wi-Fi is a joke, you may get some weak signal if you are in the living room but it depends on the carriers. It gives the idea that they are in financial dire straits and cannot afford to renovate even the smallest things. The sauna is just for showing because its not working. The people were very nice and I have to agree with other opinions I read about it: the photos do not do justice!
