Hotel Solar do Rebolo — Hotel in Oliveira do Hospital

We stayed 2 nights in this lovely boutique hotel, nested in a 19th century mansion, and opened 6 months ago. Its personnal is friendly and dedicated, a real discovery. |It has all possible facilities of a 4 stars, including a heated pool and a jaccuzi, wifi for free that works well across the venue amd a large parking in front of the entrance.||We booked room 302, which has an incredibly large terrace, overseeing the valley view with a 270 degree view. The room was about 30sqm in addition of the terrace 40 sqm ! NB : our room was not dotted with a fridge, just in case you need one, be aware.||The breakfast is served on the 1st floor, in what was the former mansion main dining room, quality is good and it offers a wide choice of fresh Portuguese products.||The hotel has a newer wing on the back of the main mansion, where every room there too has a small balcony.||Dont trust the stars classification, as it's not reflecting the venue qualities. We highly this place and we will certainly come back if we travel agaib in that part of Portugal, and it is definitely worth spending a romantic getaway at this venue as the region is gorgeous and has a fantastic food...

Acabei de fazer o check out neste hotel e foi uma experiência a não repetir. Embora tenha sido remodelado, o quarto que nos foi dado tinha um cheiro forte a humidade, e inclusivamente o chão sentia-se húmido. Tivemos de abrir a janela de imediato mas mesmo assim passamos a noite com um odor a humidade no quarto. Sendo verão, com temperaturas no exterior de 30 graus, não se imagina no Inverno. A cama dupla eram simplesmente duas camas individuais juntas o que se tornava muito incomodo no meio. O pequeno almoço muito pouco sustentável, com pão e bolos todos em embalagens individuais. Foi usado um voucher lifecooler no valor de 69.99€ e ainda nos cobraram uma taxa extra de 35€ por ser feriado. No final o quarto ficou a 105€, e ficávamos provavelmente num dos piores quartos do hotel. Poderíamos ter marcado um quarto deluxe por 70-80€. Muito desagradados com a falta de atenção que nos deixa sem qualquer vontade de repetir, como transmitido...
