Pizza etcetera — Restaurant in Oliveira do Hospital

What a big surprise this place is!

We were in Oliveira do Hospital for a few days and getting tired of cooking for ourselves. There are very few eateries in the city, and not at all vegan/vegetarian friendly. One evening we said alright, we’re gonna have a pizza if there are so little options anyway, so we went to Etcetera.

This very nice guy welcomed us with a big smile and very good English. We were totally surprised to find a fully vegan pizza in their menu, but more than that, they made us a custom made pizza without tomato sauce which was very very good.

We would’ve loved to have deserts also but the pizzas are too big and tasty not to eat it all. Maybe next time.

Superb ! Finely balanced flavours. Fragrant fun in a circle. On our first visit we ate on the terrace and watched the world come home at the end of the day. We changed the order during our second visit to take-away when we noticed that the empty end of the restaurant was about to be taken over by a party of 12 ! (Be aware. This pizza (etcetera) restaurant is on the first floor of a block of flats and is not well sign-posted. Ha-ha in finding it if you have not been forewarned ! Not expensive, great food quality and good service. Good grissini, ricotta and olives, plus a lovely garlic bread with mozzarella (with pizza dough) for starters. We went for the pizzas, for our mains, with an excellent dough, Napoli style, and good toppings. M size enough for one person. Poor bathroom and lack of ventilation at dinning room.
