Casal dos Cantos — Hotel in Palmela

I have had the pleasure of finding this little gem in Quinta do Anjo for a little getaway with some friends, and it place did not disappoint. From the check in, to the adorable grandma that was always checking in on us and bringing us food and other little tokens, to the AMAZING pool, we were spoilt rotten during our 5 days there. The weather was phenomenal, which allowed us to enjoy some late night barbecues and pool dips, and have a lovely break from the hustle and bustle of the city life. The rooms were clean, the beds smelled great and the kitchen had all the supplies and amenities we could possibly need to cook. There is also a good supermarket 5 minutes walking from the house, and it has all the good Portuguese food everyone raves about. If you rented a car, there are many beaches in the area for you to explore and lose yourself in them. The house is also 45 minutes driving from Lisbon, and it's all in all very well located, with a balance of calm, easy, simple life in the house and then many activities around if either walking or by car. Es una casa dividida en cuatro apartamentos. En uno de ellos vive una persona (que poco agradable es). La zona exterior es lo mejor. La piscina increíble, zona césped, bbq... Todo muy bien cuidado. Nos alojamos en Casa Suite. Hay escaleras, en la planta baja no es de gran uso la verdad, es una entrada con una cama? Todo muy limpio y con todo lo necesario, no le falta de nada! Hay tendedero, pinzas, plancha, secador de pelo, lavadora, toallas para la piscina, todo lo necesario para la cocina; cafetera, tostadora, microondas.. Hay aire acondicionado en la habitación. Si que he echado de menos un sofá para ver la televisión. La tele está en la cocina. Hay balcón y se ven unos atardeceres bonitos.

Pero... Hay hormigas!! Al principio nada preocupante, son pequeñas y había pocas, así que cuidado con dejar comida fuera. Lo peor fue el último día. Nos invadieron, fue asqueroso, había un montón por todos los lados, suelo, pared, muebles de cocina, etc. Tuvimos que echar flis flis que había allí y rápido se murieron, pero estábamos con nuestro perro y eso era toxico para él.

Quitando eso, mi perro también ha disfrutado mucho de la zona común y de Setúbal. La ubicación si tienes coche es genial, cerca de todo! En resumen todo muy bien, quitando lo de las hormigas....
