Lovely hotel, very clean and the interior is beautiful. the indoor pool was so nice and enjoyable. The gym which is 24 hours, was not worth it at all. Only had two dumbbells which were impossible to use as the weight kept falling on and was hazardous for dropping on feet. It had a multitude cable machine which felt really cheap and therefore it didn’t work properly and was broken. The breakfast was awful. flys were all over the food, all the food was cold and disgusting. The restaurant itself looked amazing but the breakfast was really a let down. The rooms were lovely but the minibar in the room was extremely expensive - €2.50 for a bottle of water??? To use the indoor pool you had to wear a swim cap which I think should have been included in the room as it is advertised as a spa. instead they charged €5 each for a swim cap which was really overpriced. When we first arrived we were told we would not be allowed to stay unless we showed our passports which we was not aware of and did not have. We had driven 3 and 1/2 hours to get to the hotel and they were happy to make us go home if we didn’t have passports. It would have been reasonable for them to tell us this prior to the stay as we were not made aware of this at all. They also did not accept drivers licenses as a form of ID. Considering that we travelled from the south of Portugal to get there and not from a foreign country, we did not think we would need it so they should have said. I think they were quite rude in telling us that they would make us go home without them, luckily we got someone to send us...

I am on my last day of my 6-day stay in this amazing hotel and feeling sad already.
Opened about a year ago, this hotel is situated in a prime location, where the sun meets the sea.
You can leave your car behind and go for relaxing walks. Nearest beach (Praia Grande) is literally in front of the hotel, about 3 minutes walk.
The center of the village of Porto Covo is about 5 minutes walking, while enjoying the sun and the sea right by your side. You can find all amenites there, including amazing restaurants with produce from the region.
About the hotel now… This hotel is family run and it makes a huge difference. It is not huge, it has about 40 rooms which is a good number for a good service. There are rooms facing the sea, others facing the pool, all these are cleaned daily and are very big!
The hotel also boots of a heated interior pool, an external one, gym and spa.
The food is very good, very complete and tasty breakfast, very good selection of bar snacks and sublime food served on the hotel’s restaurant.
The prices are adequate for all the tranquility you get by staying in this gem of an hotel.
I am looking forward to...
