Hotel Douroinn — Hotel in Tabuaço

Yes the road to and from the hotel makes it worth going there by car., If you like to try this on your bicycle email me and I will join you as the views are outstanding. This is where all the people from the town work during the day, the wine that you drink is made by them. The town is completely dead during the day while the work to get us our daily life elixir and they do a great job.||||The hotel is of a reasonable to good standard inside with bar and TV room with MTV on 24 hours a day. I thought this was a pool table hotel but obviously not. There is nothing you can do except for trying to find a wifi signal. I found it under my bed on the floor but only in the morning while the other were still asleep. Hanging over the balcany with one arm next to the neighbours at 03.00 at night also gave me a signal.||Yes breakfast, shower, room etc were fine but I like something more like a fittness room or sauna or swimming pool. reasonable for its price and quality but so boring without wifi. We stayed here and were quite happy with the hotel and especially the breakfast.

The service was great and the staff were friendly as well. The air conditioning in the room was appreciated as it was very hot when we arrived.

We chose this location because it was off the beaten path and we enjoyed being away from the touristy places. The views from the park are spectacular. Be sure to check them out.

Which was the only place to get WiFi (couldn't get it in the room). You needed to leave the key at front desk, BUT there wasn't always someone at the front desk.
