If you love fresh, local Portuguese cuisine, this restaurant is a must-visit. From the moment we walked in, the owners greeted us with genuine hospitality, making us feel right at home.

Our meal began with a delicious spread of small bites, olives, and bread to share — the perfect start. We enjoyed flavorful starters, followed by individually chosen main courses. The pork stew, in particular, was rich, comforting, and incredibly tasty.

Dessert was a delightful finale: homemade ice cream accompanied each dish, and the pistachio and port wine flavors were simply outstanding. To top it all off, our dinner was paired with excellent wines sourced from nearby local farmers, adding a truly authentic touch.

We ended up in Tabuaco when looking for a place to stay. A cafe recommended Sabor do Tachinho for a meal. It was fabulous. We were the only diners that night!
