Hotel Santiago — Hotel in Vagos

This hotel opened in the fall of 2013. The location is wonderful between the Belles Artes district and the historic center beside the Parque Forestal. The staff are outstanding! My husband was accidentally locked in a bank ATM kiosk. Javier, the receptionist, called the bank and secured his release. He even left his post to make sure he was freed. truly above and beyond! The rooms are small but they have real king size beds. The restaurant offered a nice simple breakfast. We were told a full service restaurant will be added as soon as the liquor license is obtained. Reservation through Booking ||Fist impression was with the staff at check-in and it was great ||The hotel might look old from the outside but the inside is a wonderful surprise ||Everything is clean and tidy, the room was as required, the staff is great and very nice ||The breakfast had a considerable amount of choices between bread toasts croissants, butter jam, ham, cheese and cakes ||The Hotel allows pets (just ask when you reserve) no noise was noted during our stay and in the morning I got to meet an adorable 1,5y Boxer Girl that just made my day so sweet.||For sure will be back...

Clean and Safe. Crisp white linen and fresh brilliant white towels. The room was small but ample with a nice clean smell. Safe open parking, behind a locked gate for vehicles. The host/booking manager, Maria-Luis was super friendly, helpful, and caring. The restaurant, Ferradura, found just around the corner (30mt) is well-priced for good traditional meals (breakfast, lunch & dinner). I will stay at Hotel Santiago in Vagos if ever in the region again. Thank You Maria-Luis for making our stay so much more pleasant. Top Budget...
