I recently had the pleasure of staying at this surprisingly charming hotel that exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by friendly and engaging staff who truly made me feel welcome. Comfortable Accommodations Nicer than the usual Hyatt Regency. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. The hotel’s design was not only pleasing to the eye but also created a warm and inviting atmosphere. I particularly enjoyed the spacious modern bathrooms as well as comforts around the room such as plentiful storage and seating. The rooms were impressively quiet and well-insulated, allowing for a peaceful retreat from the city outside. Culinary Delights One of the highlights of my stay was the scrumptious dinner buffet. The spread was delightful, featuring an abundance of delicious Arab dishes—be sure to indulge in the salads! For Hyatt Globalist, the buffet is complimentary, a real reward for brand loyalty (this will change when the club lounge reopens). Convenient Transportation Getting to the hotel was a breeze, whether opting for a short taxi ride or a quick subway trip from the airport. If time permits, I recommend taking the subway; it’s new, convenient, and adds a local element to your journey. Exceptional Service Check-in was a pleasant experience, with a team that genuinely looks out for one another. If one staff member missed a detail, another was quick to step in, ensuring that guests are fully informed about all the hotel has to offer. Meryem, in particular, was exceptionally engaging and took the time to show me around the property, making my stay even more enjoyable. Impeccable Cleanliness The hotel maintained a high standard of cleanliness, with everything sparkling and well-maintained. It was clear that the staff takes great pride in their work. Easy Departure When it was time for my early morning flight, the doorman was very helpful in arranging a 5 AM taxi, which was both easy to secure and reasonably priced, thanks to the meter. Overall, my experience at this hotel was nothing short of delightful. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming stay close to the airport.

Stayed 5 nights in Hyatt Regency Oryx Doha, and loved my stay! I was picked up by Hira and he delivered excellent service. The car was clean and smelled good. He happily helped with our luggage and told us a few stories about Doha. We were welcomed by Alyona and gave us a quick tour of the hotel. We were so happy and felt well taken care of! PROS: -excellent service from all people -breakfast food was good -room was a bit dated but we had a comfortable bed and housekeeping did a great job -there is a gym and spa (dry sauna, jacuzzi, steam sauna) -there is a club lounge for happy hour food & drinks (6-8pm) for Globalists and those who get a room with club access -10-15mins away from the airport -Al Nafourah Garden had amazing food! (highly recommend the mixed grill, never had prawn & fish so fresh & juicy, also their bread had amazing texture, just like eating a cloud! Saif, team leader delivered amazing service and we are very happy!) CONS: -had an issue with the suite upgrade (but Alyona made sure to take care of it and offer a solution that we are happy and grateful for) -this hotel is near the airport so not the closest to the city -club lounge food needs to be improved, only time food was good was the first night we arrived, other nights the sandwich was not tasty and the meats (chicken and lamb) were overcooked and very dry -margarita drink from Al Nafourah Garden needs to be improved -windows from the room and the whole hotel needs to be cleaned Shoutout to Alyona (front office manager), Saif (Al Nafourah Garden server), Hira (van driver) for delivering excellent service and making us feel welcome. We will gladly return after renovations are done so we can try out their new suites (after Q4 2024) PS Please like/thumbs 👍🏻 up this review if you find this helpful so it would be able to help other people as well. Thank you!

Hyatt Regency Oryx Doha delivers a true five-star stay with excellent service, modern comfort, and great amenities, making it an ideal stopover hotel that leaves you wishing for more time. A polished, well-run hotel that genuinely lives up to its five-star reputation. Arrival and Service (5/5): The experience starts with a free hourly shuttle to and from the airport, which makes getting there effortless. On arrival, we were greeted by exceptionally friendly staff who made us feel welcome straight away. Rooms (5/5): Spacious, stylish, and comfortable. The bed was firm in the best way and perfect after a long flight. Everything felt fresh and well cared for. Facilities (5/5): The gym and pool are top-notch, clean, and well equipped. We also tried room service and ordered the club sandwich, which arrived quickly and was excellent. Atmosphere (5/5): Elegant but relaxed. The hotel has a refined look without feeling stuffy or over the top. Overall: For a 24-hour stopover, this was a fantastic stay. Great staff, beautiful rooms, and a genuinely premium feel from start to finish. Rating: 5/5 ⭐️ A five-star experience in every sense, and one I’d happily stay at again. And the slice of cake for our anniversary was such an elegant touch. The only draw back I have is the hotel has a nightclub and it was pumping music until like 2am. That was pretty frustrating and did keep us awake. Maybe we just got unlucky so I’ve kept it at a 5 but it was not ideal.

A beautiful hotel but falls short of 5 star service. The service received was pretty inconsistent as some members of staff and certain situations were dealt with to a top standard but the hotel fell short in other areas. The poolside was not staffed so on our 2 days that we spent there (would have spent more but it was boring), there was nothing provided to eat or drink. Spending time by the pool is a big part of my holiday so this was really disappointing. When I enquired with a staff member, I was told it is un-manned due to a lack of guests using the pool. This wasnt an acceptable reason. The other situation I had was when I asked if I could change money using my contactless card (we forgot our bank cards!) - 2 members of staff said it is possible then when I went to change the money, the manager(Nicole) came and advised that it actually isnt possible. Very unprofessional. Check-in was really nice and Kartik was friendly and helpful. The gentleman at the door was very, very helpful in all matters and 2 members of staff at Alnafourah were also very helpful and friendly. We watched football at Alnafourah and we were treated well and nicely accommodated. Another incident occured when we came back to our room following a visit to the pool and having had our room made up, there were no towels! I had to call twice to housekeeping to advise them as they took so long to respond then when a member from housekeeping arrived, he told me the towels will take an hour to arrive! Never experienced something like this at a 5 star hotel. I had to go down to reception to resolve the situation and I will say that Nicole did sort it out immediately, the housekeeping manager visited our room to apologise and provided a complimentary fruit bowl. Nicole also offered a wonderful gesture by giving us complimentary entrance to a beautiful 'brunch by the pool' evening dinner. This was a lovely gesture as the food on offer was delightful. The gesture was very much appreciated. The location of the hotel isnt the best as there isnt too much to do in the area but taxis are so easy to get, this isnt too much of an issue. Overall, a really nice hotel but in my opinion, falls short of 5 star standard but does provide good value for the price. Nice but I wouldn't stay here again. Overall service needs...

Words cannot do justice to this glorious hotel. Let’s leave the expansive beauty of the place aside for a moment and focus on their craft. It’s guest experience. I stayed there for 2 whole months and in a matter of days, they learned what I like / don’t, and my stay grew ever-pleasant from then on. I couldn’t help but feel at home. I’m going to name a few absolute rockstars

Birendra in housekeeping, who performs magic with your room. Come back after a long day, and it feels brand new even after 2 months. Tanpreet, Zeynab, Himanshu and Paulina at The Cellar, who not only welcomed me on most evenings, but never had to ask what I wanted to eat or drink. I walked in and things appeared telepathically on my favourite table. They are a special squad - people I will never forget. I consider them family. Chaimaa and her colleagues at the reception who were incredibly responsive and flexible to everything I asked - even when I embarrassingly locked myself out of my room a few times and had to come over with a key to let me back in. Or when they were happy to accommodate my family without deepening my pockets. Joseph, my amazing trainer at the gym. This dude knows what he is doing and can get you into shape within days. I highly recommend you follow his advice. (Don’t be fooled into doing extra reps with his charming and encouraging manner) Siddique, whi in my honest opinion is the best massage therapist I’ve had in 10 years in this region. Explain your problem and he will find a way to alleviate it. He has a deep understanding muscle tone and blood flow. Trust him. Breakfast buffet: the lovely Indian chefs (2 of them) who knew exactly how I liked my eggs, the hostesses who welcomed me and brought me coffee just how it should be.

All without saying a word. And I wont forget the ever-smiling, ever ready gentlemen who received me outside my car, the security personnel who shook my hand and asked me about my day, every single day. This is testament to perfection. I love the place and their people. Wish I could live...
