I am writing this review with deep disappointment, as our recent food from this restaurant was one of the most unpleasant dining experiences I've had.
The primary issue and one that is fundamental to cuisine, was the improper cooking of the base spices. We ordered the Egg Curry, and the moment the dish was brought to the table, we could smell the raw, uncooked masala. It had a floury and pungent aroma that is a clear sign the spice blend was not sauteed properly in oil before the gravy was made. This completely overpowered the dish and made it very difficult to eat.
Unfortunately, the problem didn't stop there. The Cauliflower in our vegetable dish was also severely undercooked. It was hard, crunchy, and tasted raw, lacking any of the tenderness it should have had from being properly cooked.
A restaurant charging money for its food must ensure that the most basic cooking techniques are followed. Serving raw masala and undercooked vegetables is unacceptable and shows a serious lack of attention in the kitchen.
It is really bad for a restaurant's reputation to have such fundamental flaws. I sincerely hope the management takes this feedback seriously. The restaurant manager should immediately look into the kitchen's food preparation process and take strong actions. Proper training for the chefs on how to "cook" spices is essential.
We had to leave all our food uneaten and will not be returning. I cannot recommend this...
Read moreWe visited this restaurant yesterday after hearing rave reviews about their momos from bloggers, but the experience turned out to be a disappointment. First, the service was extremely poor—we honked multiple times to get their attention, and despite seeing us, the staff took over 10 minutes to come, and that too without a menu. Everything was slow, from bringing the menu to taking and serving the order. The staff seemed indifferent, and hospitality was a disappointing 1/10.
We tried the chicken chili momos, which were fried and served in a sauce resembling Manchurian. While the dish was edible, the filling lacked flavor, making it just an average 5/10. The gol gappay/pani puri was another letdown, served with aloo ki sabzi and a watery side but no imli chutney. The watery side was overly salty and lacked flavor, though the puris were good.
Overall, the experience didn’t live up to the hype, and there’s a lot of room for improvement in both food quality...
Read moreYou will find the best MoMos in town only at this place in whole of Qatar🤤. Everything is freshly made...they also have amazing Aloo parathas unfortunately I wasn't able to click the pictures😔 Their steamed MoMos were amazing in taste and just very much fresh along with super amazing chutney which I couldn't stop licking 😋 for spicy food lovers this is the only stop you should be for Chicken Chilli MoMos 😍 Service is very humble and almost the right time since they make everything afresh. The ambience isn't so great but comfortable enough nor is the location since parking is not easy to find but worth a visit but surely you wouldn't be able to stop revisiting after the...
