We had a wonderful summer family stay at this hotel in July. This property has a rich heritage, even before Rixos Gulf took it over. It also enjoys one of the best locations in Qatar — very close to the airport, museums, and the Corniche. The private beach is absolutely beautiful and gave us the feeling of a true vacation abroad. Room – 10/10 We stayed in a Premium Room. The space was average, but the sea view was amazing, overlooking the water and all the towers of Doha. The room had a large lounge chair that converted into a bed, which worked perfectly for our two kids. Service – 9/10 Staff were friendly and responsive. Special thanks to Mr. Byran from Kenya at the front desk — he welcomed us warmly, took the time to show us the best room options, and handled everything with great flexibility and professionalism. However, after checkout, I contacted the hotel about an item I forgot in the room. While they said they would check, unfortunately no one followed up. Also, I noticed that some valet staff members had noticeable body odor, likely due to working long hours in the summer heat. It’s understandable, but I hope the hotel can provide better support for them in such conditions. Food – Breakfast: 7/10 A good variety is offered: eggs, waffles, crepes, Turkish pastries, cheeses, and a kids’ corner. Fresh orange juice is complimentary upon request. The foul medames needs improvement, and we’d love to see more fruit and dish variety. It would also be great if baby food options were available for families with infants. There are also plenty of dining choices within the hotel — an Indian restaurant, steakhouse, and an outdoor food truck. Facilities – 8/10 There’s a small football field, a Kids Club with a daily activity schedule, a playroom, and a ping-pong table near the pool. To improve even more, I recommend adding video games, baby-foot (foosball) tables, or even a volleyball court to keep older children and teens entertained. Swimming Pools – 10/10 There are two large outdoor pools, including one located directly on the beach, plus a kids’ pool. All were clean and well-maintained. Beach – 10/10 Gym – 10/10 Valet Parking – 10/10 The valet service is free, and parking is available in a shaded area, which was very convenient during the hot weather. Price – 10/10 Excellent value thanks to summer and Katara Hospitality offers. The pricing was reasonable, especially with the All-Inclusive option. Overall: This hotel gave us a real vacation feel — I would gladly return and could stay 3 nights or more without getting bored. The All-Inclusive package is very convenient for families. Highly recommended, especially for those traveling with children.

I am a traveller and I have stayed in some of the most luxurious hotels in many parts of the world, me & my wife are very fussy, everything has to be perfect for us to give good reviews, been to Doha before & stayed in a very luxurious & popular hotel, so which ever hotel we choose had to be better & had a lot to live up to. We chose Rixos Gulf Resort & my word it was well worth it. From Check-in (we arrived 4.09am in the morning & rooms are only allocated after 12.09pm) the management (especially Otaman & his staff, they were so kind & so concern about our long journey through the night) allocated a room at 8.00am & upgraded us to a sea view room, because of our 40th wedding anniversary & let us have breakfast also) he did not have to, but he did👍😁,thankyou, the room was immense with everything you need & require, the hotel really is a 5☆ , all the facilities are total luxurious, food breakfast & dinner was tasty & with so much choices, the restaurant, all the surroundings, the beach , pool area, the gym, sauna, steam room, all clean & modern.the cleaning staffs that cleans our room would provide anything we requested but with a smile, the restaurant staffs especially "Nazaria" & the Nepalese girls were so kind & welcoming, staffs around the Lobby area were so very helpful & always the 1st to greet you, and around the beach & pool area the facilities were immense & again the workers were all very kind & always smiling, a special mention for "FRANK" what a wonderful person, he is kind, he greets you with one of his wonderful smile, guves you time, he will come running you as soon as he sees us with towels & will make sure that he finds a deckchair for us. The conclusion is, a really 5☆ hotel with all the facilities, well worth coming, I have been here 7days & it just flew, got 3 more days to enjoy, where ever you are in the world and you are reading this review, if you are coming to Qatar then make Rixos Gulf Resort your main destination, your will not regret it, we are living it, and "NO" I have not been paid for this review, lol but a discount for my next visit here will be welcome. 😅, Thank you to each and everyone at this wonderful hotel for giving us an amazing time, keep up the good work. Too many paid reviews. I agree with the review below, the worst Rixos from the network, is not up to Turkey or Egypt… far from 5 stars. The staff is pleasant and smiling, but that's all about it. Expect Wafaa at the reception, very rude and not polite lady, how can she be let working with people is she argues back (!) and not trying to solve the problem ? Knowing that there were not enough free sun beds, specially the ones in the shade, absolutely nothing has been done in 6 days since we are here. It is not possible to take a place in the shade in the morning 1) on the beach 2) near both pools, 3) anywhere although there is a place to put umbrellas. Even if you wake up earlier and put your clothes (only possible way to have shadow beds for your kids) and go to have breakfast the staff will have problem with you.. because they don’t now what to do with this problem and how to organize everything. Small hint - put more umbrellas!!! Organize !! I highly recommend this hotel for holidays with children, there is no playground, no swings, no slides. Although sometimes you can meet Mickey in the lobby, at lunchtime when children go to sleep.. The kids water corner hardly works, looks old. The room with one slide inside is incredibly small for all the hotel kids. There is a kids' club itself is the size of a one-room bedroom, although in general there is a place that allows you to make it bigger and more interesting for kids. The kids disco and show is very poor. Guys, Rixos is about kids, but not your one I think. The food is exactly the same on the buffet, yes the choice is quite big but all the same everyday. It's just not possible to eat the same thing in couple of days. By the way there is also no place to sit and eat during rush hours, although it would also be possible to competently arrange seating if desired, at the entrance to the restaurant, but the administrator stands for beauty not for organization. I was very disappointed with the hotel and it greatly spoiled the impression of my vacation. Highly not recommended for family holidays. I ve been to 62 countries and this hotel is in top worst ones!!

Frank is good service! My stay at the Rixos Gulf Hotel Doha was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived until the very last second of our departure, we were treated to a world-class experience that perfectly blended luxury, hospitality, and stunning design.

Location: The hotel is situated in the heart of the new and vibrant West Bay area. The views of the Arabian Gulf and the iconic Doha skyline are absolutely breathtaking, especially from the higher floors and the pool area. It's conveniently located close to major business districts, shopping malls (like the Place Vendôme), and cultural attractions.

The Room: We stayed in a Premier Sea View Room and it was spectacular. The room was incredibly spacious, modern, and immaculately clean. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered panoramic views of the sea that we never tired of. The bed was supremely comfortable, ensuring a perfect night's sleep after long days of exploring. The marble bathroom with a separate rain shower and a deep soaking tub was a luxurious touch.

Dining & The All-Inclusive Concept: This is where Rixos truly shines. The all-inclusive package is outstanding and feels genuinely premium. We had access to a wide variety of restaurants and bars without ever worrying about the bill.

· Breakfast at Mermaid: The buffet was vast, with an incredible selection of international and local dishes. Everything was fresh and delicious. · Turquoise Restaurant: The lunch and dinner buffets were equally impressive, with live cooking stations and ever-changing themes. · À la carte restaurants: We loved the option to book at the specialty restaurants. The Italian at L'Olivo and the Turkish cuisine at Turquoise were particular highlights. The quality of the food and service in these restaurants rivals the best standalone establishments in the city. · Bars: The lobby lounge and pool bar were perfect for cocktails, fresh juices, and premium beverages throughout the day.

Amenities & Facilities:

· The Pool: The sprawling lagoon-style pool is the heart of the hotel. It's beautiful, surrounded by lush gardens and comfortable sunbeds, and offers direct access to the beach. It felt like a true resort oasis in the middle of the city. · The Spa: We indulged in a treatment at the Rixos Spa, and it was a deeply relaxing experience. The facilities, including the Turkish Hammam, are top-notch. · Beach: The private beach is well-maintained, with soft sand and clear views, making it a perfect spot to relax.

Service: The staff are the hotel's greatest asset. Every single team member we encountered, from the concierge and waiters to the housekeeping staff, was exceptionally attentive, professional, and genuinely friendly. They anticipated our needs and went out of their way to make our stay special.

Overall, the Rixos Gulf Hotel Doha is more than just a place to sleep; it's a destination in itself. It perfectly delivers on its promise of a luxurious, all-inclusive resort experience with the added benefit of a prime city location. It is ideal for couples, families, and anyone looking for a truly pampering and hassle-free holiday. We cannot wait to return!

Highly recommended without...

What can I say or what can I not say about this hotel, the service, the staff, the food and the value for money.

Me and my wife travelled with our son on this first holiday. We were nervous on many fronts and didn’t know what to expect. On day two my wife and I were concerned about the food and approached the staff. Within minutes the reception team called the head chef Erfan out and we said down in the lobby and explained our dietary requirements. From that day and literally, that minute, the chef confronted his team, and the Head of Food and Beverages Bincent made sure for breakfast lunch and dinner we were catered for. Bincent provided his personal number and said give me 15 minutes notice and the food will be ready and was served at all three courses to our table. The team made sure we were seated accordingly, we were comfortable, and we had options to cater our requirements. For breakfast, chef Abdul had a good variety of options and both chef Rahul and Tusharre made sure we never went hungry for both lunch and dinner! In fact, dessert was very nicely presented as expected of a 5-star hotel. For our son, the chef’s made special separate dishes to make sure he had something to eat, and it was as per his dietary requirements. Where if you require Jain, Asian vegetarian or what ever your needs and requirements, I am certain once you notify the team, they will for sure accommodate you and really look after you.

RIXY CLUB!! – The children club provides a good level of care for all children. I observed this whilst our son was playing and really having a great time. The children are really cared for, encouraged to interact with other children and participate in the activities they have. Evening entertainment was lovely. Our son really enjoyed this. A good example of this I observed when members of the team took the children to the toilet, for lunch and put the children to sleep for their very needed nap time! The children they’re and the staff really “connect” with each other. Every day there is a plan for activities which include, face painting, arts and crafts, painting, archery and many other fun activities are done during the day. The team of Hassen, Aya, Adbo, Soukaina and Jasur speak a variety of different languages and help to embed the children in during their stay. Well done team!

Stay at the hotel and enjoy the afternoon drinks! Chakara makes the best cold coffee – always smiling and really tries to build a relationship with you. The team in the restaurant are on standby to give you recommendation on drink to go with your meal. Yen and Nizara gave good options and a great service with a smile! Keep up the good work – you all do a great job to serve the guest and others. All the staff are very welcoming and supportive. Whilst on the resort the staff made effort to come and see you, talk to you, ask you about your day, give recommendation of places to visit and most touching, interact with children! The staff are always smiling, from the reception staff to the pool staff and the management. They really want to make you stay enjoyable and stress free.

Thank you for all the...
