Outstanding Culinary Experience at CARPAT Inn
Our dining experience at CARPAT Inn was a true celebration of flavor, artistry, and passion. From the very first bite, it was clear that this was no ordinary meal.
We began with the Bruschette Mix—an elegant starter featuring grilled shrimp, fresh tomatoes, and a velvety olive cream. The addition of edible flowers brought not only color but a refined touch that set the tone for the rest of the evening.
For the main course, we indulged in the Duck Leg, paired beautifully with apples, pears, and raisins caramelized in orange juice, alongside perfectly creamy dauphinoise potatoes. The Veal Cheeks were melt-in-your-mouth tender, served with aromatic truffle mashed potatoes and a horseradish sauce that added just the right amount of kick.
Dessert was a showstopper: the Homemade Lava Cake—rich, gooey, and paired with silky ice cream—was the perfect finale to an unforgettable meal.
But what truly elevated the entire experience was Chef Alexandru. His culinary mastery is undeniable. Each dish was not only perfectly executed but also visually stunning. He presented every course on thoughtfully selected plates, enhancing both the aesthetic and the story of the food. It’s rare to encounter a chef who marries creativity with such precision and care.
Chef Alexandru is a true artist—his passion, dedication, and respect for his craft shine through in every detail. We felt as though we were not just eating a meal but being invited into his world. This is a chef who doesn’t just cook—he creates experiences.
We will absolutely return to explore more of his...

The rooms are dirty, one of them had black mold in the bathroom. Also mold in the gym room. The cleaning service is poor, there is a a sewer like smell in the hallways and also in the rooms that probably comes from poorly cleaned carpet. The hotel is a 4 star but the staff is not trained for 4 stars but more like for a hostel. The pool area is nice but no one respects the rules, kids constantly jumping in the pool, alcohol consumed at the pool. Despite the fact that there are cameras at the pool none of the staff members did anything. On top of this, due to the fact that the weather changed and the temperature dropped, we were given an electric heater to warm up the room, despite the fact that the room has AC but was only working for cold. The heater kept making cracking sounds during the night and we couldn't get a good night sleep. This is not acceptable for a 4 star hotel.|A nice hotel but with a high price, poor cleaning and...
