I recently booked a room at this hotel for my friend, under my name, specifically because it advertised having air conditioning—essential during the hot summer months. We paid €76 (380 RON) per night, expecting at least basic comforts. Unfortunately, the experience was disastrous from the start.||From the first night, the air conditioning did not work. Despite the receptionist assuring us it was functioning properly, my friend endured a sleepless night with the room temperature soaring to 28 degrees. Even after moving him to another room on the second day, the air conditioning still did not work.||On the third night, the manager reassured us that the air conditioning issue had been fixed by 5 PM. Yet again, this was untrue; my friend slept in a room at 27 degrees, with no improvement. When I confronted the manager, he gaslighted us, denying any problems and incredibly stating that it wasn't a big deal since the outside temperature was "only" 30 degrees, not over 40. His dismissive attitude, suggesting we shouldn't make a fuss over this "minor" inconvenience, was both insulting and unprofessional.||As a Romanian familiar with direct customer service, I was shocked by this hotel's blatant disregard for guest comfort and honesty. Over four days, we encountered nothing but poor service and dishonesty. The staff were indifferent, and the manager's behavior was not just unhelpful but outright disrespectful. For the price we paid, the lack of basic amenities and the treatment we received were beyond unacceptable.||I strongly advise anyone considering a stay here to look elsewhere. I suppose we were lucky to find two double rooms here for our party of four in the high-season. Phonecall being made on the day of arrival in Romanian (one of our party speaking the local language, we did not try English). We were traveling with a family of 3 plus me as a single. So the husband of the family and myself took the high room on the 4th floor that came with a balcony. The room on the lower floor came without a balcony. Rooms had fridges. Airco in our room was functional, yet seemed... not too willing. The hotel offers off-road parking, but I'd recommend off-loading in front of the hotel when your party consists of more than one person and you have multiple pieces of luggage as the distance between the car-parc and the hotel is somewhat considerable.
