I'm confused how is this called a hotel . Gives me more of a motel/hostel vibe . There's no elevator in this ''hotel '' so if you have heavy luggages I would keep this in mind . The receptionist seems irritated if you call or ask any question and gives you a very forced smile all the time . He was unprofessional and quite unpolite when I had to do the checkout very early in the morning . He asked me with an irritated tone ''couldn't you have paid in the evening ?'' I'm confused why he was irritated , doesn't he have to use the computer to make a checkout anyway? I paid with the credit card and the whole ordeal lasted a minute . I had previously called them to make sure if its possible to do very early checkouts . ||There are also other minuses like the room not having a vault to keep your valuable belongings . No sign for ''No disturb '' . I don't think they even know what that means . The cleaning staff was nosy and curious to stand and look which room I enter. Minibar and hair dryer were non existent despite being advertised otherwise . No phone in the room to call the reception or anywhere like any normal hotel . I asked about the restaurant , the guy at the reception told me with a very forced smile that they only serve breakfast . The area is very noisy , I had window to the main road and you cannot open it due to the very annoying car noises. TV in the room is very small and at least 25 years old , I didn't bother turning it on . Wifi connection was bad , unsecured and kept disconnecting . Mattresses and the pillow were indeed not very comfortable . The only plus maybe is the bathroom which was modern and clean . Personally I think the price is kind of high for what you get . I did not feel welcomed and comfortable in this hotel so I will avoid in...
Read moreThis place is quite far from the city center. If you have a car, than it's not bad. Otherwise you mainly have to use the taxi to get in the city, and it's about 12-14LEU (3-3,5€) one way. Quite cheap. Taxi drivers in Cluj are nice folks and never tried to cash us more than the real cost. Liliacul has its own restaurant, so you don't have to go out because of that if you dont' want to. We didn't try it, but the dinner area was very nice looking. Our room cost about 25€ and it was big with balcony. Bathroom was nice and spacious, but the sewerage in the shower didn't quite work. Only in two minutes the booth was full of water. Bed was a bit too fluffy for us, but people like different things. All in all, this room was quite the opposite for normal small room what you see in every chain hotel everywhere. It wasn't very well decorated or anything, but it was spacious and perfectly good for one night stand. At the lobby you can buy waters, juices, beers etc. to take to your room, so no need to find a local market either. And they seem to have a decent parking lot too at the front yard. And if you feel like buying a new car, 'cause the old junk doesn't take you anywhere anymore, than walk a bit downhill, there are many shops...
Read moreI spent one night in this hotel. Even if the rooms are clean there is a problem with drainage in the bathrooms. The bed for the third person was not very confortable, but after a very full day it was ok.||In the morning there is a continental breakfast- bread and butter, ham, jam and egg, cofee.||The waiter entertain the tourists and he is a...
