Hotel Smarald — Hotel in Constanta Metropolitan Area

I stayed here in late June 2009. As the other reviewer said, the beach close to the hotel is just fake advertising. The correct text should be : unusable beach just 80 meters from the hotel. I payed around 32 euros per night for a double room, with buffet breakfast included. Food was enough but very low quality ingredients. The ”tea” could not even be rated and the coffee was also low quality. You could have bought your espresso form the lobby though. Sausages were full of grease and gristle. The desk person was very nice. We were allowed check-in at around 07:30 instead of afternoon. The room was clean, the bathroom too. Minibar is available. The bed was comfortable. The air conditioning will only work when you are inside the room, because closing the door using the card will cut power supply. We also had a great view, to the sea. Sound proofing is very poor, giving you the impression that there are no real walls between rooms, just...

We book an apartment at this hotel in August this year . The flat as its stated on te website have jacuzzi ( where ? i didnt see it :)) , you will have a mini bar ( in your dreams ) end the housekeepers will coming daily ( twice a week ) . On the top of that after you pay for your hotel, they dont aswer the phone , e-mail or...nothing...no comunication at all. We had few items missing also , but we realise back home some items are missing , we email the reception , of course , no reply . Breakfast for free :))))) such a joke...you get ham, feta cheese and tomato :))) every day on the buffet plus some cereals , mik and jam. If you want a nice hotel , try to find another one....this is from a clear mile the worst one...

We wanted a quick getaway at seaside, week-end only. We stayed at this 3* hotel for 3 nights.||Located at "only" 80 m from the sea ..it takes you actually 10 minutes walk to arrive at the nearest sandy beach... No access to the beach from its location.,||The room was clean..but the sink was so smelly...ich ..||||When we will go to Eforie Nord again, for sure we will chose something else, there are plenty hotels to...
