Mava Apartamente — Hotel in Constanta Metropolitan Area

Horrible experience with the waitress Steluța. She approached our table, having a really bad attitude, after 10 minutes of waiting, even thou I had eye contact with her multiple times.. She literally threw the dinner menus on the table and disappeared in a rush without even asking if we need to order anything. By the time she reappeared it was 11:49 and when we requested the breakfast menu, her replay was....tough luck, the breakfast is over and if we want to eat anything we have to wait till 12:30 when the kitchen reopens. After spending over $LEI 2000 for accommodation and couple of dinner tables the prior days, I was left stunned by her horrible attitude. She pulled the menu out of my hand and told me to go eat breakfast somewhere else. I have traveled the world and I never had such a bad experience. I was really willing to leave a 5 star review, but thanks to Steluța, she was able to change my experience for the worse. I will never visit the hotel or the restaurant again and I recommend to all the US travelers to avoid it at all cost. Don't be deceived by the high ranking on Google, by US standards, you will get a better experience at Taco Bell or McDonald's in South Chicago...

Super hotel located in the outskirts of the city, close to a big mall, but far from the old town. The rooms are spacious and really good (at my first stay I stayed in room 506 where the toilet is installed way too high which is highly unpleasant - at my second stay I was in room 516 where the toilet is normal). |There is a really nice two-floor gym with new, high quality equipment. But unfortunately the cardio machines are located on the top floor, with the spa bathtub and sauna, which means the temperature/humidity is too high for a good cardio workout. |There is a laundary room but there is no laundary service.|There is free parking with plenty of parking spaces. |There is a movie theater. |The hotel restaurant is really great and serves high quality food. I highly recommend the tuna steak and port spare ribs which is amazing. But my favourite is the mushroom soup which superb. |I will most definitely return to this hotel, but for longer stays I would like to have an appartment, but only normal hotel room were available at...

I have traveled the world over, stayed in countless hole-in-the-wall hotels and grand palaces. I have slept on the streets and under satin sheets, but my experience with the MAVA and staff was unparalleled. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and clean. The kitchen was a great addition for longer stays. Sometimes you just want a home cooked meal! The bed was not what you would expect, most hotel beds are hard and uncomfortable, not the MAVA. Slept like a baby. The restaurant, DasKino served amazing food. Nothing on the menu was bad. I tried everything at least once, somethings twice. I have left the best for last, the staff. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay amazing. When we first met we were strangers, now I feel like I can call you all my friends. They say its not the destination, but the journey.
