Well, let's start the story.. ||The booking was made for a double room, when we arrived our room didn't have a balcony. Other people paid exactly the same but they get rooms at first level with balcony. ||Nobody told us from the start about these things, but the price was the same. ||The reception lady, aged 19 years old, didn't understand anything about how bookings and reservations were working. Imagine that I had a 15 minutes converstation and I felt I was talking to an empty wall. Finally the low IQ lady gave me the room key and I asked her where is the room (which level) and the answer was brilliant: "Wait, I guess is here, if I remember well..." :)||Can you imagine something like this in a 4 stars pension? ||Other things to know:||Don't lose the room key, they said it costs 400 euro! :)) Gold? Platinum? Nothing. It was just a metal cheap key. Just stupid attitude. ||Don't smoke in the room, 500 euro fine! Oh, do the firemen come from Dubai? :)||The list can continue...||||The interior design is not bad, the position is far away from the beach but I knew that from the start. ||One recommendation: Make the old lady who cooks, the manager of that place! She always smiled, always tried to cook us something in the morning, warm attitude everytime.||||I won't come back never again to this place....
Read moreWe found it by chance and it turned out to be an excellent place to spend our holidays. We decided to go to the seaside on the last minute and because all the hotels were fully booked or charged way too much for 2 nights we booked rooms at Siera Pension. It is in Mamaia Nord, which is actually a resort recently set up, north of Mamaia, in Navodari village. There are a few B&B's around and some restaurants (amongst which I recommed "La Scoica") and a vey nice beach at 5 minutes walk. The inn is brand new, the rooms are very spacious and have tasteful furniture. The double room we took had a balcony where we could sit, have a drink and enjoy the view. The inn has a small pool right in front of the entrance with large pillows where you can rest after a good swim. They also have a small cafe next to it, unfortunately they don't have a restaurant, so you depend on car to have your dinner, as the nearest restaurant is too far to walk. Even if it was frugal, we appreciated the breakfast because it was healthy and on Sunday morning they surprised each of us with a spoon of roe and a glass of champagne, which we found quite chic :) The only inconvenient was that we could not pay for our stay with our credit card and had to go way back to Mamaia to find an ATM and...
Read moreHonestly, location is not perfect, the quality is not the best and the whole place not super pleasant. First of all - it looked extremely old. Really, the sort of shower cabins and creaking under sink cabinets were telling enough, so when the toilet started to randomly leak I wasn’t even surprised. We were basically left to our own devices with the whole place. As for the location - there’s not really a proper parking but you kinda can park in the higher up level by the entrance. There’s barely anything close by in the area - one pizza place and bars at the beach, but definitely not very much choice. The wifi is barely functional - kept disconnecting. They also charge you 9 lei per coffee which considering there is not a single place around for morning coffee close by - it’s not specially nice or anything like that. Also the idea that some of the rooms have possibility to be for 3 people is a joke - the leather pull out sofa is in no way nice place to spend few nights on, pretty uncomfortable. We were given one toilet roll that was already open for 3 people for 3 nights. I guess they make it a business for people who come once and never come back. It definitely was not all inclusive as said...
