Hotel Clermont — Hotel in Covasna

Clermont is a hotel suitable for any tastes. Being a 4-star hotel, I've expected a little more attention to details regarding the furniture in the rooms (it was too classic and damaged in some areas). Apart from this, the room was clean, the bathroom was large with everything you needed, disinfected and modern. In the wardrobe, there were bathrobes, slippers, a brush for shoes, a Bible, a safety deposit box and other accesories. The Wi-Fi was good and the tv had a large variety of digital and analogue tv programmes. There was also a phone, the possibility to order food and drinks in the room, and a mini fridge with beer, sodas, wine, water and spirit drinks. We were impressed by the pool and spa center that were very clean and modern and you had to make an appointment in order to prevent COVID-19 spread. There was also a bar, a restaurant, table tennis, two bowling tracks, two pool tables, massage and other relaxation techniques offered by specialists, a hairdressing saloon, a store inside the hotel and some facilities outside like archery, climbing, barbecue and many others. The food in the restaurant was very tasty and varied. They also cook with some bio products like meat, milk and cheese from the hotel's own farm. It is located near the forrest so you can breathe fresh air and relax in the nature. It has many other facilities and strong points that maybe I've forgotten to mention but it is surely a hotel where you can spend high quality time with no way of getting bored! This is the 6th time we choose this hotel. We are more than pleased, the rooms are pristine and well equipped, the service outstanding, from the cleaning trough the restaurant (and the medical treatment is an added value). No matter the weather one would always have something to enjoy. Running, hiking, trails, biking or ATV, this destination is gorgeous. Inside the hotel has gym, sauna (both kind), jacuzzi and a 14m swimming pool. The food is more than enough, in the morning it's a swedish buffet included in the rooms price, but you can order too all day and it's pretty haute-cuisine (sections for children's and vegetarians included). Highly recommended, these people are professionals and know business. Special caveat if you want to explore: there are bears and you should have whistles (at least) bear-sprays and hike in groups. We also saw deers, foxes, all kind of small and inoffensive fauna. In the vicinity there are several springs, both with fresh and mineral water. Unfortunately, all our expectations from this hotel have been dispelled from the first contact with the reservation department.| I hardly managed (after countless phone calls, emails) to make a reservation for three rooms. Following our repeated interactions with the hotel representatives, either reception or reservations, we received different information, from person to person. Today, I finally received the reservation offer and, surprise ... totally modified compared to why I previously discussed. Asking for clarifications I learned that 2019 is not 2020 in terms of prices, offers, etc. If you make a reservation on booking.com 2019 it looks like 2020.
