I chose this hotel because it had good reviews, looked nice in the pictures, and was close to the location where the congress I attended took place. The hotel is indeed very good, with excellent value for money. It feels like staying in a nobleman's manor from the 19th century, with beautiful paintings, classic decor, wooden furniture, high ceilings, marble stairs, classic-style chairs and armchairs, and natural colors—all of which help you relax and rebalance emotionally and physically. The pillows, bed, and mattress are of very high quality, so I slept very well. The room has bathrobes and good-quality towels. I really liked the statue, a piece of art in the room, which made me feel like I was back in my childhood. It's very quiet, with no noise. The breakfast caters to the most refined tastes; I enjoyed the coffee, the wide variety of fruits, cheeses, seeds, yogurts, jams, sausages, porridges, and I appreciated that they had both juice and plant-based milk. The bread was delicious. The lady in the restaurant is very attentive and kind, always making sure you have everything you want and constantly replenishing the assortment. Therefore, I confidently...
Read more(+) the room and the hotel were very clean. everyday they changed the used towels and took out the trash. the room was warm and spatious and the utilities were more than enough (hair dryer, refrigerator). the hotel is pretty on the inside, it has paintings and furniture to preserve the old aristocrat vibe. the breakfast was tasty, the products were high quality and the food was enough. (----) they do not have parking. when we made the reservation we asked explicitly if they had parking and they said yes. when we arrived they said again, "the parking is outside the hotel". but there is no parking, you just park on the street, no lines for parking spaces, nothing arranged. of course, it is not reserved for the hotel guests, because it is not a parking, so anyone can "park" there (-) they changed the used towels everyday, even if you didn't throw them on the floor as it is indicated in the hotel rules, so not very eco friendly. the towels smelled really bad of chlorine. the breakfast was not very varied. also, the shower was VERY old so it...
Read moreI stayed at Hotel Royal for about two weeks with a large group. The hotel was kept spotless, the staff were amazing, friendly people, and the food was the most delicious! We were served beautiful 5 course meals, something I have never experienced before at a hotel, especially at a place this affordable.
The hotel is located in a very good area and a short walk away from the city’s center (about 7-10 minutes).
I could not have stayed at a better hotel while in Romania. My group and I had developed a friendship while staying there that when it was time to leave for home we were crying our goodbyes and so was the staff.
Five stars for the most awesome, friendliest hotel in...
