Muller Hotel Galati — Hotel in Galați

I didn’t understand all the positive reviews, until I realized the majority is native guests. As an international guest,who travels quite often, here’s my review: 1- Nicely renovated building. It’s unfortunate that so much white light was used instead of yellow, it cheapens out the hall and hallways. 2- Instruction manuals in the rooms are only in Romanian, nothing in English. This is absurd, a child can use chatgpt/google translate and print them out! 3- Whenever I took a shower, the whole bathroom floor was completely wet, because of the leakage from the door of the shower! 4- During breakfast just this morning there was nobody standing in the restaurant area. Some of the items were out and had to be refilled, we had to notify the Front Office Manager twice to get some cucumbers! 5- We had dinner 2 nights in a row at the hotel. The food is average at best. The service gentleman who works the restaurant in the evening barely speaks any English and sadly his service skills aren’t any better either. 6- “WELL DONE” beef doesn’t mean “Medium-well done”. It shouldn’t be that difficult to cook a meat accordingly with a guest’s request. 7- The hotel doesn’t have any plant based milk and a customer asking for it 3 days in a row clearly isn’t enough for anybody to care. 8- Front office team is kind, let’s see if they end up organizing the repair of my...

It’s a brand new facility, still having the paint smell. All is new and shiny, which is good, but sone design solutions are extremely strange so need to be corrected:||- no shower door/curtain leaves a huge puddle on the floor in the bathroom||- ventilation fan is extremely noisy and you can’t turn it off||- no soap plate ||- towel dryer is not working||- breakfast is good, but coffee machine works in Romanian and sometimes requires flushing (by guests), which is not good at all||- desk in the room has a certain raised border on the edges, making it uncomfortable ||- lamp indicating light turn off switch is extremely bright and bothersome at night ||||So hotel operators really need to try to spend a night in their hotel and take an interior designer with them. Absolutely nice and remarkable hotel! Just recently opened, therefore not very crowded however rooms are on at high quality as well as the hotel. Distance to the city centre and Denham are very convenient even for a walk in the evening! Also charging stations are available. You just need to connect with your phone and download an app but it’s working...
