Museum of Visual Arts — Attraction in Galați

Sadly, the former location of the art museum, a fantastic historical building was given back to the orthodox church who maimed it into a Christianity museum.

The current location, due to change to a brand new one soon, may be a bit cramped for the wealth of art the museum might offer, but it deserves a stop thanks to the high quality of contemporary art...

Small museum, but very interesting. You can easily spend 90 min here. I really liked the ground floor where it stores more modern art, communist propaganda and sculptures. Very cheap...

Buna ziua. Am vizitat recent Muzeeul de Arta Vizuala. Eu m-am documentat , cu 2 saptamani inainte , care sunt obiectivele turistice din orasul Galati , cand am ales sa vizitez orasul. Am venit de la 400 km distanta , dar atunci cand am deschis usa , angajatii erau oarecum mirati si ne-au intrebat ,,, vreti sa vizitati ? ,, Oare ce se poate face la muzeeu ?,,Parcasem in fata muzeeului si se vedea din incinta ca nu suntem din localitate . Se poate interpreta in doua moduri , ori nu mai sunt vizitatori , ori au fost...
