Pensiunea Dana Horezu — Hotel in Horezu

I stayed 3 nights in Pensiunea Dana.||It is situated in a wonderful region, with lots to enjoy: the Monasteries in Oltenia, the Transalpina Road, higher mountains and soft hills ... and in Horezu itself the local ceramic craftmanship.||The pension is situated at the edge of the locality, in a very quiet zone. From the street you can already see a lot of flowers, what you don't see is the huge yard behind with a lawn, a playground for children, wooden pavilions (in one of them you can make a BBQ) ... and more flowers.||It is a family run place where you feel quite as a member of the family. The breakfast is great and you can also have dinner, which I'd recommand in any case, for the landlady is a great cook and she uses her own products (vegetables, cheese, yaourt, fruit, jam, wine ... all from a 0 km distance). And it isn't prepared for a small hunger, but for a big appetite!||||I'll definitely pay more...

Nice and quiet place, located on a hill. You can see the city from the pension.||Very good services for a nice week-end, with BBQ, large kitchen, table for ping-pong, two pavilions to sit and enjoy the coffee in the morning, if you prefer it outside.||The rooms are ok, comfortable, clean, each with his own bath and hot water available anytime. The garden is very nice, with many flowers, grass. ||Parking spaces available both inside and on the street.||Breakfast is on all taste: coffee, tea, tomatoes, cucumber, eggs, cheese, butter and very very good fruit jam.||||Owners are very nice...

The pension is situated in a quiet location on the road which leads to the village of the potters (Olari) where you can visit ceramic ateliers. It is an extremely nice place. Lots of flowers, a lawn, wooden pavilions ... you can relax wonderfully, the children can play ... The landlords are very kind and helpful -and the landlady is a great cook, so that I warmly advice to have dinner there too! The rooms are nice and clean ... It's a "feeling well" place where I've been a couple of times and to which I'll surely return more times...
