The hotel is alright, our superior room looked nice however there was a bad smell from the toilet which would hit you when coming from outside.
The room was warm, shower had good pressure, clean white towels. The downside is that we asked for a quiet room as I was tired but we were given the room closest to the reception and you could hear people coming in and out, however I was assured it is a very quiet room. At night time it got worse as people above was were making incredible noise, moving furniture around, talking loud, etc.. it was so disturbing that I had to go to the reception and let them know. However, it took another hour, around 1 am, to get some quite time. The reception staff was nice and helpful. The downside is that the rooms have zero noise insulation and you can hear everything from everywhere which was a big minus for us. There was a small sachet of shampoo for each of us which I think it was a joke as it wasn't enough to wash a baby's hair. Read moreNice hotel, friendly staff! 5 nights here were more than enough to say my opinion about this hotel and I recommend it to other visitors of Moldavia's capital. Very clean and nice rooms, air conditioning, minibar (as fridge), flat TV, very good bathroom with shower cabin and hairdryer, wardrobe and hanger at the entrance and furniture in a good condition. The Cafe has been closed due to pandemic conditions but there are possibilities to get coffee or refreshments at the reception of the hotel. There is a parking area and a special place for smoking - next to the hotel. A pretty quiet & cozy hotel! Many thanks to the hotel's staff - warm and smiling faces, always ready to help customers! Highly recommended! P.S.: there is a supermarket and other shops in the area (University Campus Tudor Vladimirescu) and a Shopping Mall...
Read moreIf you are in for an inexpensive hotel where to crush after a long drive, this is the place. If not, keep on reading.
It is away from the city center and is hard to find even with a GPS. The hotel sign arrow is after the street you should turn. Good luck to find a parking if you come late. If you want AC, that's extra: you have to pay to get the remote that operates it. Don't get a room on the fourth floor if you have some luggage and you don't have a strong back - there is no elevator.
At least the reception personnel is friendly and tries to do their best...
