La Plopii Fără Soț — Hotel in Iași Metropolitan Area

We made a trip to Iasi and we reserved a double room by phone. We used a number that the hotel posted on the internet. The lady from the hotel ensured us that everything was ok, even if she was not at the location she said that she will inform his coleagues about our arrival. Gues what? She did not! At 22.00 hrs, we didn't have accomodation because her coleagues obviously gave the room away! I forgot to mention, the hotel was full! The guy from the reception was not very interested by the problem caused by his colleague. From the attitude, I think they were family, possibly owners! Not sure, but ...|If you want to choose this hotel, maybe it is better to think again!!!! We stayed at Motel Bucium (it is not a motel, but a real 4* hotel), a few km away, up on the hill, direction to Vaslui. It was a really good choise- good food, nice and quite surroundings and ... indoor swimming pool. All that, for about 5 euro more! I will never try again to stay at La Plopii Fara Sot because of the attitude of the personell! It is just not...

Without doubt one of the favorite hotels I stayed during my time in Iaşi! Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the owner who was really kind and accommodated us at 9:00 in the morning, despite the fact that the check in hour was at 12:00. The staff was extremely friendly, the restaurant very flexible (appreciate this!). We had one great evening here, which obviously also added up to the experience. ||The atmosphere is so special, warm abd cozy, that it really felt like home to me.
