Hotel Cometa — Hotel in Mangalia

Cosy accomodation, great view, clean room, nice atmosphere. The renovation of the reception area looks great, it's good to have a nice terrace which offers everiday's sunset with a cup of coffee and a small green play area for children!It would be great if daily hours could be extended from an early start in the morning to a late afternoon/evening to welcome tourists who would fully enjoy the benefits of the sea side and not to mention who would increase the incomes of the hotel by enjoying Cafeteria's delights.The many, the better. It was a must indeed to have a bathroom near the reception, good job with that! And an easy access to /from the beach with special water area for sand cleaning - a warmer whater flow would prevent children to hate it;)... and not only them. Parking area also looks better and well organised this year. I would suggest to offer a hairdryer in the bathroom and one extra hanger for to have towels at hand by the shower. And, who knows, maybe a private pool area will surprise us in the years to come near the hotel with a unique sea wiew on several levels! The one from the hotel next door looks great, seing the stoney entrance into the Sea full of algae and not friendly when cold marine...

I've spent here 2 weekend bacations, in june and july! Very good location, on the beach which is not overcrowded, suitable for families with children, inclusive babies, who have enough place to play between the sunbeds! There are pebbles and stones on the entrance in the water, but because of the minigolf there, the water is warmy! The hotel is mainly clean and the common arreas seems are well managed! The rooms are avarage cleaned (there is dust under the beds), but the rating of 3* is correct! Triple standard rooms are as big as the double rooms and because of the third bed, the space os very limited! Good sea view from the balcony! Parking lot is small and splited with a neighbour hotel, extra charged (5 lei/day). The playgroud.....hmmm, a big joke (very poor), but nearby is a nice one, big enough. Wiil came back...

😊: The hotel is on the beach, all rooms have sea view because of the position of hotel - perpendicular to the sea. The view is fantastic, especially for the rooms at the higher floors.

There is a big parking place, extended in the garden close to the hotel.

The renting of two sunbeds, a small table and umbrella is 12 euros. It can be paid at the reception or directly at the beach.

Good breakfast, almost no cakes, but there are fruits. Very good coffee.. 😢: I was surprised to hear that the parking place should be paid after the checkout. We wanted to leave from the sea after lunch time. It is not clearly stated on the website. It is 2 euros/hour.
