Nevis Wellness & Spa — Hotel in Oradea Metropolitan Area

This is a 3 star hotel at best.

Pros: 1.Staff is lovely Check in is smooth Prices are reasonable given there's a spa Spa is ok. Nothing too fancy, nothing too awful Breakfast is a solid 4/5 Location is OK. Safe neighbourhood. You're 1km away from the centre. I would recommend taking the slightly longer (by 5 min) walk by the river towards the city centre (it's prettier). Otherwise, a taxi would cost under 10 lei (€2 approx).

Cons: Rooms are a little awkward (old furniture and carpets, walls have the odd dead mosquito on them) and have a bit of a communist, mildly depressing character to them. The restaurant at the top has very average food. It tasted reheated. I feel bad saying this because the service was great and our waitress was extremely kind and welcoming. Atmosphere is a 3/5, service is a 5/5, but food is a 2/5. The fridge in my room was making a noise all day and night. Not the end of the world, but a little irritating. Bathroom is quite lacklustre. Nothing awful, but it feels like you're in someone's average priced apartment, rather than in a 4 star spa hotel.

Overall, this was OK and I wouldn't necessarily not stay here again; but this is, in my eyes, a 3 star hotel at best. I'm pretty sure it has the 4 star rating due to the spa.

We had a reservation for bachelorettes (massage, spa and access to the pool/jacuzzi). The massage was great and relaxing, the staff was nice to us. But when we arrived at the hotel nobody was at the reception. After a while when the receptionist came she didn't know that the towels and slippers are included or not, so she said that the staff in the relaxing room will help us, but nobody was there. We went back to the reception, where again, nobody was there. After a while when the receptionist came back she called somebody to give us towels, but she said that slippers are not included because we didn't have a room. We stayed here 2 nights. The room was very big and clean and so was the bathroom. The room was warm and the we always had hot water to shower. There were enough options at breakfast and you had were to choose from. There is a lift in the hotel, so if you stay at an upper level it is easy to get there. The hotel is on a busy road, but we did not hear the noise from outside.
