Steak HUB Oradea — Restaurant in Oradea Metropolitan Area

The food is good, I mean really good. On the other hand, the service needs a lot of improvement. I understand that you have the menus only on the mobile, but then the waiter, I believed, it should come up with a recommendation with what can be offered to the guests. It should come to the table asking you more often if you need anything, not being necessary you to stand up and go look for the waiter whenever you wanna order something. If you are done eating with your main dish, the waiter should ask you if you wanna have a dessert. Someone from the table left and I had to stay the entire evening with the dirty glasses on the table. When I told the waiter before the main dish, that we would like to serve some plates with our wine 🍷 maybe some bacon or cheese we’re told that they don’t have something like that in the menu, if you ask some extra bacon on your main dish again, the answer from the weather is that they don’t do that they don’t have bacon 🥓 afterwords they still brought us some appetizers but it’s just not polite from my point of you that the waiters first reaction is that it’s not possible, which I can understand, but then you should come up with an alternative, a suggestion… even if I was polite the entire evening with the waiter she did not even bother to say thank you or salute us...

Overrated… We stay in Oradea so we usually try out new places to know what to recommend for people who come to the city for the first time. We went to have a “linner” here for my fiancé’s birthday. Service was good, the waiter was nice, not too talkative though. Got our food in 20-30 minutes, we had the pork ribs and the duck. The ribs were good but the sides were really basic, lacking of creativity and flavor. The duck breast was a little too rare for my taste, which would not have been a problem if it was crisp on the outside and if it had a little spice or more taste to it. The basically unflavored, uncooked meat was way overpowered by the sweetness of the sweetpotato+mango puree. There was no kick, no surpise, no crispy element. We ordered a side of wedge potatoes, and the biggest element of surprise was that it was a cheap frozen version. A cheap corner fast food quality product that has no place in a restaurant that has this price range and “reputation”. I would like to give one extra star for the dessert because it was very good, but not necessarily better than a nice local cafeteria. All in all, there are so many good places to eat at in central Oradea, Steak HUB is not worth the...

I went a total of 3 times to this restaurant during our stay in Oradea and I consider that was nowhere near enough since the food is so good! The menu is diverse and has a little bit of everything while offering a quite unique experience by adding their own touch to every "usual" food ( such as the fried corn that came with the ribs ). The drinks are really well presented and very good, making this a suited place to have even just a quick dessert, which I must say is really something! The waiters are very polite and we didn't have to wait a second more than needed. It also looks very stylish and the ambiance is alright. It will always be my first pick when going...
