Pensiunea Toma — Hotel in Ploiești

I travel quite a lot and I choose and reserve the accommodations only by Booking, but this has never happened to me outside the country ... only in Romania ... Romanian tourism ....|I was at the wedding in Ploiesti and I booked a room through Booking (20 days before) for me and my parents - at the PENSIUNEA CASA SIMONI - somewhere near the wedding place.|All good and beautiful until the day of accommodation, when, at 4 pm, a gentleman called me, probably the owner, telling me that the room is no longer available because other tourists have extended their seruj and that it happens ... and they can give me a room in an apartment in the center of Ploiesti city (somewhere far from the location). I informed them that I can not accept, that I reserved the room just for the location, 2 minutes walk from the wedding venue. He spoke to me very badly and I told him that I would make a complaint to Booking and he said: "Lady make a complain wherever you want ..."|I called the customer service of Booking in London. After waiting more than 20 minutes I talked to a lady and she told me that she would solve the problem, just to wait that she call the property. She answer me up relatively quickly and told me she talked to the property and the owners told her that someone made me a bad joke and that my reservation is ok and the room is waiting for me and there is no alternative, only the room I booked it ...|Amazed I checked the phone number - it was the same as the one stated on the Booking. I call ... and what followed is indescribable.||I was talking to a lady this time, who starts yelling at me HOW DID I DARE TO GIVE A STAR ON GOOGLE?! I told them that I talked to somebody from customer service from Booking and informed me that the reservation is ok ... A new series of hysteria: that they offered me their 3-room apartment 2 blocks away from the property and after that I gave them a star. I told them nicelly that it is not true (regarding the alternative) and they told me that it is very true, that I am a liar, that she was near her husband when he told me this ... and then she threatened me: JUST DARE TO HAVE THE COURAGE TO GO TO THEIR PROPERTY (and she has repeated that at least 3 times) ... THAT I SHOULD BE CONCERNED HAVING IN MIND THAT I AM WITH MY CAR AND MAYBE I SHOULD TAKE CARE OF ME BECAUSE IT'S POSSIBLE TO HAVE A CAR ACCIDENT. ..|I called back to Booking (super nervous) , and I wait a lot to tell what happened. I talk to a nice gentleman who tells me to calm down that he resolves, that in no way he sends me back to the property and that he has to talk to his superiors. |Unfortunately, a young lady from my country called me back, telling me to make a complaint to the police, that they cannot help me. She called the property and she was informed that the reservation is waiting for me and that she can only help with the cancellation without penalty, given that the reservation is active.|Now I regret that I have accepted the cancellation. The room costs 180 lei and I think it is worth to give a star on Booking ... a...

NU , NU- ACEASTA LOCATIE NU TREBUIE SA FACA PARTE DIN CIRCUITUL CAZRILOR din aceasta tara! EVITAȚI ACEASTA LOCAȚIE! Daca vreti un sejur linistit , NU va cazati aici - Proprietara pensiunii are grave probleme de comportament fata de clienti: foarte aroganta si cu superioritate, cu un vocabular inadecvat si pusa pe cearta fara motiv. In week-end am avut un eveniment (am fost nas la o nunta) la Ploiesti , mirele ne-a rezervat mai multe camere in aceasta locatie, i s-a cerut intreaga plata in avans, i s-a refuzat plata cu cardul, mentionand ca lucreaza cu CASH si i s-a oferit o chitanta de mana( ATENTIE nu bon fiscalizat)! Sambata cand am ajuns intregul grup sa ne cazam- SURPRIZA NEPLACUTA, am fost primiti de parca eram slugile ei- cu un ton foarte agresiv si jignitor, nu a recunoscut plata ca ea nu gaseste nicio rezervare si ca sa ii dovedeasca mirele ca a platit si ca a rezervat la ea camere! Intr-un final, a recunoscut, dar a zis ca ea nu are camere goale( noi aveam rezervate 5 camere) la momentul respectiv ca sa venim mai tarziu! S-a gandit mai bine si a zis ca la ora respectiva ne poate da 2 camere intr-un apartament si diferenta de camere mai tarziu ( fiind in intarziere pentru ca nu puteau sta nuntasii sa ii astepte pe nasi am acceptat compromisul ca sa ne putem schimba si noi si sa mergem la eveniment- i-am spus ca o ne schimbam pe rand in apartament si plecam,dar cand a auzit a ,,luat foc ,,ca nici vorba de asa ceva ca nu putem sa intram toti in apartament ,ca nu ii facem noi ei nunta in casa). Dupa mai multe discutii aprinse ,, a gasit,, camere libere( camere pe care le avea libere inca de cand am ajuns,dar nu a vrut sa ni le dea( banuiesc ca avea de gand sa cazeze pe altii ,ca pentru noi deja era achitat si ,,eram la mana ei,,. Pana la urma ne-a oferit 3 camere in pensiune si 2 camere in apartamentul de care a zis, un apartament aflat in alta zona, apartament aflat inca in constructie, plin de praf si dezordonat. In concluzie a fost o experienta groaznica cu aceasta cazare, nu am crezut ca exista asa ceva,drept pentru care o sa fac si sesizari catre organele abilitate pentru verificarea desfasurarii activitatii de turism a acestei locatii: de la partea de fiscalizare si pana la partea de igena si autorizari! In rest sa aveti cazari bune si niciodata asemenea experiente cu astfel de persoane arogante si dispretuitoare care nu stiu sa isi respecte clientii! P.S: Cred ca sterg recenziile negative, altfel nu imi explic cum o astfel de locatie are un scor de 4 stele la aprecieri, din moment ce nu merita nici...

I liked the concept of the rooms, all of them are different, you can stay in the New York room, Tuscany Room, Paris Room, Istanbul Room. I had a normal room, downstairs, I don't recommend room 102 because it's near the reception and it's a little bit noisy in the morning. I like the garden, clean and bright where you can serve a delicious breakfast (with lot of tea, love it, they have even yogy tea). Back to my room, I found 3 books if you wanna read something, that was pretty cool and I also found 2 spiders and a lot of spider web of course in a corner,...
