The host is desperate for money!

They asked for 100 ron/night as “heating costs” to allow us to use the common dining room/breakfast hall. The listed price of the breakfast was 20 ron/person, but they asked for 25 ron upon arrival. We declined, so cannot comment on the quality of the breakfast. There is plenty of space for parking in the yard, but you have to ask nicely and insist to be allowed to park your car inside. The barbecue in the yard is off-limits, but the hosts offer to cook for you at a price. We were not interested, so I cannot comment on the price and quality. The prices on the website are not the same as the ones they ask for on the phone. Be careful. Refuse to pay for extras. Or, better yet, do not stay here! One star because that is the minimum! They did have heating in the rooms and the room did appear to be clean. Did not find anything wrong with that, though. Would not stay here again because of the attitude of the host towards using the common area (breakfast/dinner hall) and of the ban on the use of the open-air barbecue and the kitchen. I have not encountered something like this anywhere else. This is so wrong! Do not stay here if you care...

We stayed here as part of a walking tour so we had half board (breakfast and evening meal) included. We had 2 nights here. The host Flori, her husband and her son Andre were so kind to us. The food was plentiful and super tasty and included home made wine and schnapps. Evening meals comprised of 3 courses, soup, main meal (typically pork or a vegetarian option) and cake for dessert. We also were given 2 types of home made schnapps style drink and a jug of wine. The breakfast was very filling, there was so much of it. Good coffee is always welcome (it was bean to cup - fantastic!) and the fried courgette was a real treat. The garden is so well looked after and it's an idyllic place to come if you want to relax. There is an honesty/bar fridge in the garden which we were very happy with, firstly after a long day travelling to Romania and secondly after a long hike over the mountain.
