I recommend you avoid this hotel if you don't want to have unpleasant surprises. I wanted to stay more nights accommodated but after the first night I changed my mind immediately. First of all I must wait long time until I got the room because the employee was busy talking on the phone for 10 minutes in their own interest. After barely got room key and I entered it hit me very bad smell that I could not stay. I had to open the windows and leave the room a few hours to air out. When I returned there were about 5 degrees Celsius outside and the room was much warmer. I tried to turn on the heater to heat but I noticed that it does not work. At this point I called the front desk to ask why is not working and told me that patron does not allow heat to start. In this case we had to sleep wearing thick but not enough to have a comfortable sleep.||The room was very small as well as the bathroom. The bathroom had no place to sit comfortably on the toilet and I was lucky I had one soap from home because otherwise there was nothing to wash. Towels were very hard, dry and felt like I scratch when I wiped them. ||In the morning when I went downstairs to have breakfast I had another surprise with food, omelette was burnt and looked old cheese was hard and had a strange color and the menu was very poor. I had to eat butter with bread for not risking to get sick because I'm sure the food was old. Evening when I entered the restaurant was not busy and in other restaurants where I was it was hardly to found a free lunch.||To be completely full when I wanted to go somewhere else and pay the room rate I was charged a higher rate than when I made the reservation without being notice.||We again recommend to avoid this hotel and will accommodate any of the following hotels in Satu Mare: City Hotel, Melody Hotel, Dana Hotels, Perla...
Read moreI recommended this hotel to my colleagues from work, after I found it online and was surprised about it's looks. My colleagues either have low expectations or mine are too high. On the outside all looks very well and nice, but in my room it was.. The bed sheets weren't changed in like..for ever! They were full of dust, hairs and God only knows what else cause I surely didn't care. I slept on the bed -mostly on the cover trying not to touch too much of anything else. I had a room at the attick and so to open the windows I had to use a wardrobe to climb it to reach the window.||The shower again like in so many other hotels( I wonder how these hotels get their stars...) was leaking and rusty.||The food for breakfast was ok, but little to almost sufficient for 3 people.||Maybe the hotel didn't have many guest or something, but I felt almost guilty to put more than 2 pieces of cheese on my plate.||All in all for me there won't be a next time there,...
Read moreWe stayed at the Aramia for one night in June 2012 en route to the Carpathian mountains. The hotel was clean, well equipped with secure private parking. The staff were extremely helpful and spoke perfect English. The rooms were clean and comfortable with good air conditioning ( for a small extra charge) . The restaurant at the rear of the hotel had its own walled garden where we spent an hour or so before eating. It was a delightful and private place to relax. The quality and price of the meal in the restaurant was superb. Overall fantastic quality, service and value for money. ||The only issue was the incorrect location of the hotel on the booking .com website The hotel is located to the north of the town centre and the correct GPS location is N47...
