Satu Mare is not a particularly inspiring place,but the Hotel Hugo exceeded expectations.It is a new hotel,with only about six rooms per floor.We had a “ standard” twin room,of adequate size with excellent firm beds and adequate storage, though in rather austere modern furniture.There was efficient aircon, a working fridge and good lighting.Although the bathroom was in the modern fashion,with no bath and a poor shallow basin,it was functionally better than most of its type.| The breakfast was of exceptional quality and variety for such a small hotel,and the reception staff...

Definitely the best stay in Satu Mare till now. Been there a few times, but it is hard to find a good hotel at a fair price. This one was by far the best one, with clean, modern and large rooms.
