Why extremes? Because one can find excellent elements and some less than modest. Let's start: ||+ Central area, very quiet, even in the rooms with street view||+ Reception really nice, large, staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms are situated circular with doors to the huge 3 levels lobby with a lot of flowers at all levels.||+ Rooms very clean and good-smelling, quiet||- Furniture gives an impression of "cheap"... extremely simple, Fridge, directly on floor, empty||+ Bathroom, very clean but (-) just a small soap dispenser and 2 small portions of shampoo||+ cellar-restaurant very good-looking, an outside garden where one can have a beer outside. Food pretty ok at a good price (-) waiter very chaotic ! Stayed here for a weekend in Sibiu with the family, we had 3 twin rooms booked on the second floor (206,207,209). This place is stuck back in communist times - nothing has been changed since then. The smell upon entering the room reeks of just old things. The sheets are too small for the beds so your head and feet end up on the actual mattress. Found hair on the bathroom floor, stains and a gross shower curtain that i haven’t seen in hotels since the 90’s. We had a room for 2 on the ground floor. Unfortunately, our entire experience was ruined by the horrible mattresses and pillows. They were so old and uncomfortable that we were left with neck and back pains that lasted for a long time. I would have given 5 stars because the room was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful, but the bed ruined everything for us.
