I was here with family two times. The manager was very polite like other staff and if problems appeared they solved most of them that’s why I turn back. But I want to admit that I spent my time for them to do something with cleanliness of room. housekeeper made job not properly. I came to the room very first day and observed that I didn’t had no shower gel no shampoo, I called to the reception and they resolved it. when the morning sun came to my room on the next day I observed that all surfaces in the room were in dust even glass on the windows were dirty, so I again asked to do something. This was awful because i totally not agree to spend my time on problem with cleanliness of room. At the end most questions were resolved but the problem with housekeeper still exist because for example they every time forgot some like throw garbage from bin in the shower room. Shower had problem because the builder had mistake with the floor angle. so when you take shower the water doesn’t go away and it is really problem floor is flood. Breakfast was acceptable and for me seemed like in April when I was first time products were more tasty. This time in August some positions was without taste. When something were finished staff were not in hurry to add more it for example some fruit, ananas or cheesecake, so if you were more early and fast you can get it.:) The restaurant wasn’t tasty for me, chicken soup was not fresh and wasn’t prepared at the same day, soup from tomatoes wasn’t tasty but bussines lunch offer in friday wasn’t bad.
Upd: room became more clean at my last visit, and breakfast became like before at...
Read moreRelatively new hotel that has not yet found a way to function smoothly.|Reception staff were some really great and some rather bored. |I had received an email to check in online, but this did not work. In the hotel I was told that it never works. Then why send the email? I did invest time. The booking data in the accor app informed me that the swimming pool was temporarily closed. In the hotel, it was open. |Our room had some issues, we found an empty chocolate bar wrapper on the armchair, two lamps were not properly fixed to the wall, the toilet seat was also loose. We reported this upon checking out as one of us was not feeling well and did not want to be disturbed.|The second room was not made every day, no idea why. ||Breakfast was theoretically very nice. In practice, there was not enough staff. No plates, no bowls, no cups, no glasses, 3 out of 4 coffee machines needed servicing and when I asked a young woman about it she showed me the one working (with a queu of 8 guests). Also - who chose the dishes? Smallish cups (150 ml) and glasses without handle, how are tea drinkers supposed to handle their drinks? Apart from the teething problems, nice choice of breakfast food. But if you are understaffed, do not oblige guests to book breakfast, I could not find an option without breakfast and it would relieve...
Read moreWe stayed in the first days after opening (when not even all floors were finished) and decided to return January 2025. Mercure Arsenal is a hotel with a good location, nice rooms (although quite small for its standards), very comfortable beds for a good sleep and with a versatile underground parking However it can do better in some areas : breakfast is 3 stars the best ; it was way better during our first stay ; but now Ibis guests (the sister hotel near Mercure) have breakfast in the same area, therefore the quality and diversity is aligned at the lower standard. Also there was no butter for the entire stay (apparently supplier not working during holidays - but this can be solved through better purchase management restaurant menu could be improved ; during our first stay the menu was better we could not understood the climate controls ; if turned on, whatever was the temperature set, the heat was the same - hot ; it was ok to leave the controls on off pool can be quite busy sometimes, also because the Ibis quests can use it also. Overall, for us, with All membership and a family offer (thank you for this), was a good value for money. However, if all the services are the same for Mercure and Ibis guests, I do not understand why paying more just for the...
